Dawn was absolutely wonderful and went above and beyond to make the day special. From letting my daughter feed the horses to guiding her through her lesson, every detail was thoughtful and memorable. Safety was always the top priority, and Dawn took the time to teach her how to clean the horses' shoes and patiently answered every single one of her many questions with such kindness and grace. The park is located next to the Goodyear Blimp Base. I decided to take a different way home after getting an oil change for my car and found myself on the east side of the railroad tracks when I passed this park and numerous municipal buildings. I realized I'd never been on this street (5th Avenue) before. The park has horse stalls, water and electric, a show ring, grass paddocks, and a picnic area. I wasn't able to see much through the locked fence. I did see one horse (!) in a trailer. There was a dirt road you could drive through, but after reading a warning sign, and having just had my car washed, I decided against it. It looks a bit run down. The City has horse stalls available for rent. If you're a Pompano Beach resident, the fee is less than for non residents. If you have a horse with no place to keep it, this park may be for you. Otherwise, keep on riding til you can't ride no more....
