Great liquor store right next to the A & P. The staff were super friendly and great to chat with. If my mom had been alone they could have talked her into buying the entire store. My favorite part? Selection decent, prices higher than other nearby stores. Wouldn't mind spending a little more for friendly service but that unfortunately was not the case. Asked nicely for a bag to carry multiple bottles, answer was no, bags are only for purchase of a single bottle. A box would have worked too but it was just a flat no. read more

This store has a huge selection and will probably be able to find anything you are looking for. The down side, the pricing is way above the average store. Recommend coming here in a pinch but not to do your regular shopping unless you don't mind paying a lot more. read more

Cannot stand this place and I know many people in town who feel the same way. Two years ago I tried to purchase liquor here with my new york state ID (from jersey and parents have a shore house in ortley but Ive lived in NYC since college) and the worker WOULDNT LET ME BUY MY ALCOHOL BC HE SAID IT WAS FAKE. I was 23 at this point and the ID was very real. I begged him to have the police come verify that it was legit so i wouldn't have to go out of my way to go to a different liquor store but they refused. I had to have my mom come bring my passport for the principal of it, but will not be giving my business to them ever again. so many other issues with them. HATE read more

Terrible service, blatant racism. A group of Asian girls walked out of the store before me and I assume they were denied for not having id? I tried to buy drinks and woman with red hair at the counter assumed I was with them because I'm Asian and denied me. Go to Lavallette or Seaside liquors instead. Also, the workers at the front are just extremely unprofessional, on their phones yelling profanities while I was trying to grab drinks. read more

Watch the prices you are charged when you get to the register...the 18 pack of beer had a sign under it for one price, but it rang up for another price. Decently priced liquor store, especially since it is on the shore in the summer. It's cram packed with wine and tons of varieties of brands, which is nice. It was cool to see Sam Adams so far from Boston with a huge selection. It may be the summer affect but there were tons of Mike's and other wine cooler varieties. The aisles are very cramped though and it can get crowded at the holidays (summer holidays, I'm sure). Also snag a cart before you get in there! read more

Stopped by on the way to the dock to crab and kayak. I have to say this spot it pretty cool. They sell single cans so you're able to mix and match. It also has a ton of different beers that I've never heard of. Before the place even opened up there was a line of people outside. It was nice inside that there was someone walking around asking ever single person if they needed some help. Definitely better than most. read more

Very rude staff! I had someone under age come into the store with me and they asked for all ID's which is understandable. But being rude to your costumers is not okay. A male was the rudest one there. Definitely lost costumers ! read more

Probably by far the worst experience of my life!!!!!! Me and my friend went to buy a case of beer at the local liquor store by my shore house. When the rude girls behind the counter gave me a horrible experience. Before even putting the beer on the counter I was asked to show my ID ( I am well over age). I simply put the beer on the counter and showed my ID. My friend however, left hers in the car (who is also over the age). They said in a rude tone " no sale If you both don't have ID". I said sure no problem and my friend went and got her ID. While waiting they were staring at me strangely . When My friend came back with her ID and they rolled their eyes at my friend and threw her ID back to her. Can we talk about horrible customer service skills. I didn't say anything until after i swiped my card and I received my receipt and said thank you and the girls did not say you are welcome. Well did they hear it. After telling them they have horrible customer service skills I was in formed to never come back. I simply replied never will I ever! I warn anyone who thinks this place deserves their money. They are horrible people with horrible service skills. I'd be embarrassed to say I own this establishment with such people representing them. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I went in to buy a few bottles and was denied service. The manager gave me a nasty attitude and started questioning me about my information. He saw that I live in Florida and automatically thought it was fake. I was using my REAL license and he continued to pick at and bend my license and ended up damaging it. No respect. read more
