Just like several who wrote reviews, we booked this tour not knowing how awful the owner is. We booked a non-refundable ticket; no issue there. The website, tour rep, and confirmation email all state that if we can't fly because of weather, we can rebook for any time. We booked yesterday, AFTER speaking with a rep who assured us we would be able to fly. The rep was very confident, so we purchased. When we arrived, we were assured again that we could fly. We got on the van, signed the waiver, and then they canceled. It felt a bit sketchy because many other operators were flying, and I hadn't experienced this "Weather". All of that is fine! The major issue is that the rep, the website, and the cancellation email told us we could book any other available day. Naturally, we tried to book for the next day, or the following day, and of course, we couldn't. We checked the website, and BOTH days were available. Not only available, but there were 10 open seats. We contacted the owner and she was beyond rude. The owner admitted that there were slots available, but said we couldn't rebook for another day! Their policy specifically states we can rebook. In fact, they told us we could rebook whenever we wanted; that was the final reason we booked the ticket! She is a LIAR and very RUDE! I've attached screenshots of her saying we can't rebook, along with their cancellation policy, which specifically says we can book. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Even if I had to pay its only $3 per car so I was going to pay but they were out of the envelopes on both kiosk... Anyways, it's an easy 45 min-ish drive from ABQ. It has three play areas where three simple hills for anyone to just "go"! One is a bunny hill and two are fun enough for adults but not scary for kiddos. Love Love Love this fun place!! There are a few bathroom facilities(bring TP) and a coveted picnic area with a large fire pit. No other sitting and watching area officially but there's plenty of space to just stand and watch your family slide down. Bring your drinks and snacks because there's not much stores on the way and there's none at the park. It's an unmonitored place so no ski patrol/rescuer or anything. That's why they only allow plastic or rubber disc or sled. No metal or wood. I saw a couple of naughty adults with some super fancy metal sleds and I was like, "seriously, you proudly strut that stuff in the middle of all these kids? What if you collide with anyone... you would cut them or break bones for sure...". I just gave them the "eye" I had a lot of fun sliding down to my hearts content and exhausted kids to happy oblivion Check it out!! You won't regret it

Had a strange and fun round at Brent Baca memorial. I was in…read moretown last week and wanted to try a course in Albuquerque that I hadn't played before. Brent Baca was top of the list. I got there the on a very chilly morn. the area feels a little sketchy as its a ways out of town, and the only thing nearby was something like a recycling plant or something. I was the only one there as ai pulled up. the course in front of me had random odds and ends includign a couch and some tires too. I just told myself it was part of the experience. The course was wide open. I didn't have to aim around things much, just get the distance down. Most holes were on the shiortwer side so despite the cold I wsa able to park it often. After a few holes a group of about 6 started behind me, which made me feel better about being out in the middle of no where on my own. By the end I really appreciated the course, and the nice views. I'll be back next time in town for sure.

This is a great disc golf course! The front nine are relatively short (though still quite a bit…read morelonger than other courses in ABQ) but still fun. They provide a nice warm up with a few very technical areas. Watch out for the ravine that runs through the course! The back nine are much longer! If you play from the round, longer tees, you're in for some serious par 4's. For me, that means par 5... The course is fun, technical and not crowded. Nice! The only drawback is the lack of shade. But hell, we live in the desert! Bring a hat and some sunscreen, and plenty of water, and you'll be fine. Oh, and plan for some serious goats head thorns! Long pants and real shoes are absolutely essential! Take some time to drive out toe Brent Baca and you will have a great game!

The caveat is that the final approach to the U-Mound gets more complex and I gave up. But there's a consolation prize: the term "U-Mound" is apparently also used to refer to the general rocks in the vicinity, which are approachable via the easy trails. Given the incomplete maps online and reviews of the difficult trails around Embudo, the TL;DR take is that you should look for the 401 trail if you're into scenery but not trying to re-enact some grim 2012-era Sundance movie. There are many elevation options. While I didn't see wildflowers in April, there was a great cacti assortment. Geography note: there are buses relatively close to Copper Trailhead but the ABQ Ride schedule is not generous. As of press time there were no post-sunset buses so I took Lyft.

This was my first weekend ever mountain biking, and this was my first experience ever at Embudo…read moreCanyon Trailhead. They had two parking lots, one in the upper area, and a parking lot right next to the trailhead. Sports Systems had a tent in the upper lot and they were demo'ing the e-bikes for that morning. We passed on that with excitement to hit the trail. We applied our sunscreen and geared up for a ride. The weather was perfect! We were a group of 4, and we hit the trail. We were 15-20 minutes into our initial climb and I realized I wasn't ready for such intensity. I've been a road bike rider for many years, but mountain biking is a whole different animal. Once we were in the trail a ways, it became a bit easier to navigate. However, the ride back to the parking lot was uphill almost the whole way. We rode about a total of 3.5 miles. I enjoyed seeing the walkers with dogs, the joggers, and other extreme fit mountain bike riders. The views were spectacular of the mountains and also looking over the city. In my opinion, I would say this was not for novice mountain bike riders. I was a bit out of my league here. Unfortunately, I even took a fall at the very end with the parking lot in view. All is good thankfully.

The terrain is open and hilly, bordered by one major road but it was not too busy.Great little 9 hole disc golf course! All but one tee is marked and all holes are marked. The pars are generous so it is great for beginners!
