I was told that the objective of the solar panels is to reduce the electricity bill by 80% to 90%. But I was really surprised when I saw my first electricity bill to be negative. Now, I am getting few more panels installed to offset my gas bill. I have decided to make a small change in my life style. In winter, in stead of using my gas furnace all day, I am also using local room heaters. This will reduce the use of gas furnace and reduce my gas bill.... Energy One also gave me a decent financing offer but I had resources to pay for the solar panels. The financing offer that E1 gave me, was just replacing my monthly utility bill with the monthly financing installment. It was a great option too....

So when I was scheduled the technician was prompt and on time. He explained what needed fixed, what was under warranty, and what I should watch out for in the future. Later on he asked for the remaining $600 and even wanted more after speaking to Evergy but didn't communicate effectively with me. I gave him a cashiers check and Evergy came without him being here to turn of my electrical, it was unprofessional and not well managed I had to hurry to get him on the phone to speak to Evergy and cancel the shut off request because Josh was not here to do the work. He stopped answering my calls and texts and at one point had me go to city hall to request a work permit when he supposedly has a legitimate company and is a Master Electrician. Ended up in small claims court where he didn't show up and just wanted to warn anyone that might consider hiring him.
