That electrician suggested I splice into the bathroom circuit. By chance, I saw a Hemel electric truck a block away so I called the phone number and Craig came over. He said he could connect up the wire and fish it through the crawl space to the breaker box and give the garage it's own circuit. HE DID! And he performed this in under two hours. They were responsive on Yelp with Request-A-Quote, and while a notch higher than some others, I figured what the hell. They could have someone out same day and the reviews looked great. The tech was later than expected (4-6 p.m. window and arrived closer to 6:30) which wasn't ideal as we had sat down to dinner. Fortunately the job was small and he was quick to handle it.
