We had companies bid where we could "lease" the equipment, a bid where we could buy directly from them and install the system ourselves which was supposed to save us nearly 40%. The company where we would install it ourselves told us it would "only take a day or two" to install the system. Luckily, before I pulled the trigger with any of these other companies, I met Patrick with Sovereign Solar. Patrick gave us a bid that was only slightly higher then the bid where we were going to have to install the system ourselves (including the permitting process and working with the local utility company.) Patrick did an excellent job navigating through the licensing and permitting process with both the local government as well as the local utility company. I can tell you this was not an easy process and one that I had no desire to deal with. Patrick and his team (Kyle and Ray) completed our project professionally and in a timely manner. Patrick has always been very responsive to questions and any concerns. I saved enough money that as an added bonus, I had Patrick install the "Sense" monitoring system so we can see exactly what appliances are using electricity and how much. So basically, if you are serious about getting a solar system....stop wasting your time looking around.....I have already done all the research and Sovereign Solar should be your first and only call.

They also had all the other options that the national companies have, including, access to high quality equipment, and financing options, but with a local presence in this area for several years. Patrick has proven to be dedicated to his customers, by always responding to our texts and phone calls without hesitation. In addition, Sovereign Solar USA and their employees worked with us to meet an installation date before the end of the year, with only a couple of months to do so. This not only included the actual installation, but also getting our Electrical Company's application processed. This was done without losing quality workmanship in the process. The installers Nick and Kyle also impressed us with their work ethic, knowledge, and customer service. Sovereign Solar USA is truly customer service oriented, and has worked beyond what was expected.

Buyer Beware! Around early 2022 I was getting quotes to add…read moresolar to our house and went with Solar Planet.  I was given a quote for a 12 kW system as I was looking to produce about 100% of my previous year's usage.  The system was installed in May but due to issues with approval with the electric company, was not working until around August 2022.   I questioned the production of energy for about a year and kept being reassured it was working as installed.   Finally, I was informed by Solar Planet, as I questioned what a 12 kW system should produce, that I did not have a 12 kW system, but instead an 8 kW system, even though I paid the quoted price for a 12 kW system (2/3 of the system I thought I was getting).  I asked that my system be corrected to the 12 kW system I had been given a quote for but was refused.  I hired an attorney, and again, tried to come to an agreement but was never given anything in writing.  Eventually I had to file a lawsuit in court at which time Solar Planet finally agreed to install the system for which I was originally quoted.  Solar Planet did install the remaining quoted system and the lawsuit has been dropped.

He arrived at my house in a very short time after reaching out, quickly diagnosed the issue (a trunk cable shorted) and was able repair it. He was also able to identify other issues with my installation and address those concerns. My system is back online thanks to Joe and I would highly recommend him for any of your solar needs!

Electrician wired it wrong three times,unhooked a 220v stove and left one hot wire and neutral,…read morethe installers got into a fist fight ( while very interesting it was very unprofessional) the salesman said I would no longer have an electric bill, and they were warrantied for 35 years ( 12 years later hail stone broke one I had to pay for replacement). 199$ for panels 200$ electric bill ( was 199$ for just electric bill before I got lied to) had to have them out SEVERAL TIMES just to get the things to work a little bit..... Junk product and an even worse company... Proud to say I got my 4 acre companies building not to use them. They lied to me...no respect for such such a place... If you are reading this DONT USE SUNSMART....they will tell you what ever to make the sale.

We installed their solar panels 2 years ago. Our electric bills are not as low as we expected them…read moreto be. Our latest electric bill showed we only produced maybe a quarter of the electricity we are using. The "savings" so far hasn't been worth the expense. To make matters worse, I have been trying for a couple of weeks to get ahold of someone to see if they can analyze our system but they will not call me back.
