I am so glad we got to celebrate here and 100% recommend it for anyone who loves magic to have an epic and uniquely fun party experience!

Plus, they're open year round! I wish they carried: 1. He alone should get 5 stars. He made my kids day! The store does have an amazing selection and sizes. Pricing isn't bad. I would say very comparable with what's online. Not to mention they will let you take costumes out of packaging to try on to make sure it fits. This is a must with a kiddo like mine who is 6 years old, but wears a 7-10 in some things. The dressing rooms are very tiny, cramped and dirty (FYI) Either owner or employee has a small dog NOT on a leash. They said he has an issue with being touched around his face and will snap but doesn't bite! The dog came up to my SN kiddo. Given my boy has a service dog (and his LOVE for animals), the dog presented himself as loving, so my boy said, "who is a good dog?" The dog proceeds to take the submissive roll over scratch my belly flop. My boy goes to rub his belly and the dog snaps at my boys hand. He got freaked out. They claim he doesn't bite, but he did. He got my boys thumb. Nothing serious at all, just a nick by his upper nail bed, but nevertheless he shouldn't be out if there is a chance he can snap. My boy never did anything to scare him. So I was pretty upset. It bothered him the rest of the day, and given my boys weak immune system a dog bite could be horribly dangerous! The dog should not be roaming store especially if young kids are in the store! Period!

I can't wait to find out which abandoned husk of a building is getting the seasonal Spirit makeover. I live for roaming around seeing all the new stuff from year to year, befriending the staff, and finding more creepy items to decorate my mausoleum. While I'm not always pleased with the prices, I can't deny that Spirit often has unique things you'll find nowhere else, so I usually end up digging deep and buying something that I just can't live without. I highly recommend visiting Spirit soon after they've opened because they generally don't restock once they've run out of something; and by mid- October, the place is pretty well picked-over. For that reason, I often browse their online store during the off-season, but nothing will ever replace getting to see it all in the store. Even as I write this, I am eagerly looking forward to the dying days of Summer, and the passing of this oppressive heat, for that is when Spirit will once again rise like a blood moon, and I with it from my crypt, in search of fresh spooky stuff.

The reason I'm posting is because of the rude response I got when I did tell a representative. She immediately got defensive and said that nobody's supposed to use that restroom. She was almost yelling at me and all she could have said or should have said was, ok thank you for letting us know. We'll get right on it. So anyway, I said it was unlocked. She said we'll you weren't supposed to go in there. I was like what? I can't use the UNLOCKED family restroom? Anyway, There was no toilet paper, and trash was everywhere!! The trash cans were spilling over. It was gross. Don't recommend. Especially if you have to pee! I had to drip dry. Ewww!!!

She made it clear we needed an appointment, but if we gave her a minute she'd see if she could help us. There was only one customer in the store. There was no doubt she had no desire to help us so we went to Judy's Wigs on Memorial and had a great experience. Thanks to Judy's Wigs, we now understand wig etiquette, how to care for them, and left with a great wig for my mother. She was in the dressing room trying on her 2nd of 3 costumes she'd picked out when the young man working at the dressing room informed me she would not be allowed to try on the 3rd one because the store was closing in 15 minutes. He apologized, saying he didn't agree but doesn't make the rules. I was shocked, to say the least, considering it only took her a few moments to try on the first 2 outfits and she could have quickly tried the 3rd. I own a retail business and the last thing I am is an annoying customer, and this is why I'm going out of my way to write this email. I had noticed the man who I'm quite sure was the actual franchise owner and he was assuredly the LAST type of person to work in this environment: Rude, gruff, and entirely off-putting, like a disgruntled carnival worker.
