WTF?!?! Passive aggressive much dude? My g/f was mad I didn't let her know about what he said. She wouldn't have patroned this place and bought toys for the kids. A bit of something for collectors, and young at heart. I can understand why the hipsters, Tulsa lovers, and historical societies spend time on 11th St. if you feel like you belong, they'll accept you with open arms. I love that feel!!

This is just not my vibe, I prefer candy stores to look like a cotton candy wonderland, or a Willy Wonka movie, not a gas station from the 50s. I took off some stars because I find the juxtaposition of toys and candy (mostly for kids) and a few more adult items in the store very odd. Nothing crazy, but there are some pinup style posters and a puzzle with female nudity. Also some sodas with pinup style women (Farrah faucet and Marilyn, etc.) Luckily my kids didn't notice any of it, I just think it would be nice to see an end of advertisements objectifying women. You just never know when you might need one, and if you want a soda that taste like bacon or carrot cake... they've got that too. They have candy with meal worms and other insects as well. It's chaotic in all the best ways. This is the best place to buy books and activity books/kits for kids. Ollie's is usually my first stop for kids' birthday gifts or if I need to take wrapped single-serve snacks to a kid function. They also usually have plenty of seasonal items, whether it's decor, stuff for yard work, xmas toys, etc. tons of household items-small kitchen appliances, hygiene items (I go here for hygiene item drives that happen from time to time), rings, home improvement items and tools...it's really just a catch-all for random stuff. I buy pet food here often. It's just an easy place to get stuff at a really great price. I love deals and discounts, so I frequent here a few times each month.

It seems like there just aren't a lot of places to buy movies anymore, at least not physical…read morecopies. Thankfully vintage stock exists though! For a recent Halloween party, I decided that I wanted to give away a Halloween movie or two as part of a costume contest prize. I'll admit I don't even really buy movies much (not even with streaming), but when I have I've gone to Walmart or something. Well it turns out they didn't really have the movies I was wanting in stock, and I got nervous about where else I could possibly buy a physical movie... Then I remembered this place! I came here once with my brother and mom to look for some video game thing my brother wanted as a gift or something, and I remembered that they sold a good selection of movies. The people were very nice there too. Before I went all they way to the store, I wanted to actually make sure they even had the movies I was wanting. So, I called the store to see if they had them in stock. The worker I talked to was helpful. He was able to check on both movies easily. It did take him a few minutes to track them down, so I'm guessing they maybe don't have the best/ most advanced system in place, but I was still able to get an answer. I was super happy that they had both movies I wanted for the prize! I had them put the movies on hold for me, thinking I'd run in later that day to pick them up, but I lost track of time and that didn't happen. Luckily, they hold things for up to three days, so when I went in a day or two later they still had them ready for me! It was super easy to just walk in, give my name, pay, and walk out with the movies. One other interesting thing about Vintage Stock movies is that some are new and others are used movies. For the two movies I got, I ended up with one of each. At first I was reluctant about the used one, but when I asked if the quality was still good (since it was sort of a gift, after all) they told me that they check to make sure that everything is still in good shape. The movie prices are similar to other places, maybe a little cheaper, and especially if you get one of the used versions. I'll definitely remember this place if I ever need to buy a movie not online again!
