I know 5 stars sounds crazy for a Circle K, but hear me out. I have been going to various Circle K…read morelocations all over the states for years and this is the first I felt the need to give a review. For starters this location is way cleaner than many I have seen, but the reason I felt the need to give a review was because of one simple interaction I had with the cashier today, Jan 8th 2024 (I wish I could remember her name). I walked in (in military uniform) during the evening very tired from a long day at work and a lot of things I had to do for my move up to Virginia (plus a lot on my mind, like how my kids are going to feel when I'm on deployment in a month) and was very dispirited. I grabbed a polar pop, as I knew I was about to have a long night. When I got to the cashier of course she asked, "Is that all?" And after I said yes she said, "Have a nice day!" With a smile on her face, clearly implying it was on the house. Was it because I was in uniform? Possibly. But I have noticed over the last 2 years companies have been slowly caring less and less about our military, to the point where most places won't give any recognition at all. I never expect anything, but something as small as a $1 drink goes such a long way. I don't think this Circle K would give a free drink to every person in uniform all of the time, I genuinely believe this person recognized I was not in a good mood and decided to make my day better with a gesture of kindness. That small act of kindness made my day a lot brighter. I only wish I had thanked her properly instead of a simple thanks and walked away. It's a shame I'm going to Virginia in a week, but I can say I know where I will be filling up before my trip.

Restroom is always nasty. Never have enough workers. Items always need to be restocked. Need more…read morecashiers. If you are in a rush go across the street to Spinx. This store opens and closes at strange times during the day.
