The Spinningfields kiosk can be easily missed. Walking onto Hardman Square you're faced with the big name restaurants like Pret, Carluccio and Giraffe. What's more if you're coming round the corner from one end, you might have already accepted Greggs for the quick pasty, sandwich or packet of crisps on the go.
The kiosk is small it could be your walk in pantry, or your secret food store. The sandwich board does well in directing me and making me take notice. It's the kind of thing you may get in a small train, tube or bus station for your essential snack and pick me up, whilst in a rush. The kiosk delivers a limited range of cold drinks, chocolate bars, crisps, newspapers. The usual newsagent type confectionary. Amongst that is the box of ferrerros and milk tray, perhaps catering for the forgotten present on the go.
It's purpose quite simply the stop and go for those walking through the Spinningfields complex or perhaps peckish if enjoying the outdoors. I can imagine when the Screenfields will be up in the summer it may become more noticed. For now, it's that extra bit of convenience for the range of services on the complex. read more
