The dog owner couldn't even control there own dog yes it was off the leash. I called the police. I also called the dog pound police came the person that was bleeding. They refuse help. And dog pound told me since they didn't see the dog anymore wasn't anything they can do so I asked them if I had my gun on me if I shot the dog, what would've happened he said nothing self-defense. They also told me if it happened again. So when I walk now, I have my stick and my peace. Saturday, May 30 I went outside and it was a pitbull running off the leash and I ran back in the house.and by the time I went back out my neighbor told me to be careful. Beware if you decide you're gonna move here dogs do not be on a leash. I've complained about this. Nothing happen even when we have a dog park they decide to let their dogs, rip and run around the sidewalks instead of the park. Please do your research before you come here. The property was well maintained and the staff made it worth the extra money. Now this property is being run by people with zero management skills. Issue #1) 2 of our three elevators have been down for TWO AND A HALF MONTHS. This leaves us with only ONE working elevator for a 23 story building. It only gets worse from here. Issue #2) We were supposed to have a fire drill that they first said we all needed to evacuate for. Then, 1-hour before pulling the alarm, they told us we could stay in our unit during the drill. However they neglected to tell us (until AFTER the drill) that the fire inspectors are ENTERING OUR UNIT! No one told us this until after they already did their inspections. This led to some of my friends being walked in on while they were not-decent. But oh my it gets worse. Issue #3) Today the THIRD ELEVATOR WENT DOWN from approximately 9am-1pm. This is against all ADA guidelines and left us without access to or from our apartments unless we were healthy enough to walk up 23 flights of stairs. When I went down to the office at 12pm on a Tuesday to talk about this.... they left. Yes they straight up didn't want to deal with complaints, so they left. I went to the corporate building for DRP and was told they they have no idea where they went and were scrambling to figure it out. Keep in mind, this place is PRICEY! $1700/month for a studio DEMANDS better service for the residents. And to top it all off, no apology or actions were taken to address the complaints. Zero monetary compensation was provided for this mess. DO NOT SIGN HERE! Spend your money elsewhere

The location gets no better than Fayetteville and Wilmington st. The leasing staff is the best in town! I was in touch more frequently with Valerie and Antonie and they are kind, professional and are always sure to assist with resident needs swiftly. The community events were super creative and there were always events scheduled throughout the entire month. I also love how the pets receive the own recognitions every month and a jar of treats to grab from at the front desk. 511 Faye has a signature scent throughout the building (mainly in the leasing area) and omg, I loved it! Regarding my studio apartment, literally my dream come true. It was upgraded, no cracks, holes, or anything else that you can think of. When I cooked, the smell did not stay in my apartment for long even with the building not having windows that opened. Honestly, now that I look back on it, I am so glad that the windows didn't open because I NEVER had to worry about those NC insects/bugs getting into my place during the summer (I'm terrified of bugs). I could brag about 511 Faye, the views, the location, the community, the staff, the apartments themselves, all day. If/when I move back to the RDU area, I will be sure to consider this residential community again. :)

Residents would leave the apartment and sit outside during the middle of the night waiting for the wailing alarm and flashing lights to be shut off. Management was unkind and dismissive. The only pleasant experience I had was with Randy the maintenance man.

They also don't spray for bugs, at least not the right way, I have seen roaches and other scary bugs running around here. I pay almost $1000 for 600 sqft and allllllllllllll these problems. Not to mention a neighbor threatened me and poured water on me for not wearing a bra, and they ignored me when I went and complained. That same neighbor is super dirty and has glass and trash all over the outside where we have to walk. It's horrible. People here let their dog off leash, where it has caused a problem before. I moved in March of 2021 from out of state, which I see why you shouldn't ever do that lol. I'm stuck here until March. I bought a brand new couch this year, and a new tv last year; they've both been leaked on! I have rearranged my apartment over and over so either one won't get leaked on or ruined. At this point I'm scared it'll drip water into an outlet located right below the ac. Do yourself a favor and find a better community to live in.

The new company, Friedlam, has their work cut out for them, but they are the right team for the job. In the short time I've lived here I've seen them add additional staff for the office and maintenance teams. Their upgrades go beyond that. The attitude of the new staff is aware of the work they have but seeking to live up to their slogan - Live Beautiful. Every request I've had they have accommodated in a reasonable amount of time, often above my expectations. I know too that with the new management even residents who've lived here longer than me's expectations will change as well, and the folks at Friedlam are not at all scared to earn that sacred trust. I'm really happy I moved here and getting to see their noble effort firsthand, what a value!
