Living in a doorman high rise in downtown Chicago set my bar relatively high and MPark appeared to measure up. The Crabtree area is a bit congested (thus, 4 stars). MPark is discretely tucked on the greenway and off the main thoroughfare. Curb appeal is strong. The real star, and certainly worthy of the fifth and final star, is Seth, the professional who showed me and my mom around the property while also training newcomer Aaron. Both men were consummate professionals in smart suits and up-to-snuff shoes. I mention this because it was the first true indicator that the staff at this property are professionals. Of the seven properties I visited in Raleigh, this was the classiest. Seth knew his inventory and had the confidence of a professional who can deliver. Hallways are wide and tasteful. Lounge areas are hidden gems with good furniture and fireplaces. Residents appeared to be a diverse group of working professionals; not a ton of children and college students. Common spaces are high quality and competitively appointed. Concierge functions somewhat like a doorman and is available to oversee dry cleaning pickup. Well done, MPark.

Beware dogs are not always on the leash. I had a dog that got away from their owner charged after…read moreme. I was terrified. I didn't know what to do. I didn't have my stick in my hand because it was about 8:30 am. An elderly gentleman was walking on the sidewalk the dog left me and went over to him. He fell and blood was everywhere. The dog owner couldn't even control there own dog yes it was off the leash. I called the police. I also called the dog pound police came the person that was bleeding. They refuse help. And dog pound told me since they didn't see the dog anymore wasn't anything they can do so I asked them if I had my gun on me if I shot the dog, what would've happened he said nothing self-defense. They also told me if it happened again. So when I walk now, I have my stick and my peace. Saturday, May 30 I went outside and it was a pitbull running off the leash and I ran back in the house.and by the time I went back out my neighbor told me to be careful. Beware if you decide you're gonna move here dogs do not be on a leash. I've complained about this. Nothing happen even when we have a dog park they decide to let their dogs, rip and run around the sidewalks instead of the park. Please do your research before you come here. You also have extra fee fees administration fee. We pay Duke Energy, but you got a utility fee. That's all added onto your rent.

I am very happy with my new home and would recommend anyone looking for a true "luxury" apartment give this place a look and I think we may soon be neighbors! Amidites are overall much nicer here than my previous apartment. Cool things like a pet spa and indoor dog park that I have LOVED! Fresh Market, Yoga Studio, Sushi Bar & Traditional Restaurant/Bar with a full golf simulator all within 100 yards of the leasing office. Plus, Wine Bar/Bistro opening soon! To name just a few, for months after moving in, I had a broken AC, incorrect wiring where the bedroom light would randomly turn on, broken washing machine where I had to go upstairs to use another unit, broken door fobs leaving entrances unable to be used. And the worst of all, the fire alarms that would sound at random times during the day and night. The false "fire alarms" randomly sounding occurred during my entire 14 month lease. Residents would leave the apartment and sit outside during the middle of the night waiting for the wailing alarm and flashing lights to be shut off. Management was unkind and dismissive. The only pleasant experience I had was with Randy the maintenance man.
