The Laundromat is the most unpleasant place to come, but when in need it you must do what you have…read moreto do. I was unprepared as I did not realize that you need cash to buy a card to load your payment on to use the machines. This means if you did not come with cash you may need to use their ATM with a $2.95 service charge . Then you are notified that you need singles only to get your first time card to load. So you then must go to the service counter to ask the employee for singles just to get the card you need to load your payment on to use the machines . Seem like quite the scam, we all know you should be able to use your credit card to purchase your wash machine card without having to play this game with the ATM so they get an additional $2.95 out of you. What an inconvenience.

I had been hearing amazing things about the nightlife in Patchogue from some close friends who live…read morethere and recently decided to airbnb vacation in the area for a month. I needed my clothes washed and folded for me throughout my stay. Whenever I travel, I worry about my high end designer clothes and don't want to leave my clothes with just anybody. Just around the corner from my place, I decided to take a chance with the route 112 laundromat. Janet, the older woman at the desk with the long white hair was very hospitable and welcoming. My first impression made me feel more like family than a laundry client. She assured me that my clothes were in good hands with her and that she had years of professional experience handling delicate and high end clothing. I had zero qualms after speaking with her and now Janet has a life long customer. When I come back to patchogue for Thanksgiving, I'll be trusting my clothes with Janet. Unfortunately, my summer excursion went by way too fast but I could enjoy it without worry once I saw the phenomenal care to detail Janet paid to my garments. A+ service with a family feel and an above and beyond experience. I'm recommending all of my friends who live in the area to trust Janet with their clothes.

I've gone twice, the second time was to see if my first time bad experience was a one time thing…read more It smells like cesspool the two times I've gone. I've put my clothes in with no stains and I've taken out them out to find multiple black stains all over some articles of my clothing. The workers never look happy or like they're willing to help. The price of the dryers is not bad, .25¢ for 9 minutes. They have multiple size washer and dryers. I also noticed they have a laundry service which is nice. However the smell and putting stain free clothes in and them coming out with stains makes it so I don't want to go back.

They fold clothes TIGHT, and you get them back in perfect stacks in transparent bags. All button up shirts are put on hangers, put together neatly with the sleeves feathered. The young ladies that work there are always very nice and personable. Take note that they only take cash at pickup. As far as the rest of the establishment, I have done laundry there, and found everything to be neat, clean, and operational. It's generally busy there all the time, but not to the point where you don't have room to fold. If you need more than one washer and drier, though, perhaps have a pen and paper handy to write down each one's number, as you may not get multiple empty ones that are right next to each other. Overall, I highly recommend this particular Laundry Kingdom.
