As soon as you get in, you can smell the black water from one of the pipes that go to the sewer. In addition, it seems the place needs attention due to the number of washers and dryers out of service. The place used to be open 24 hours but nowadays it is open till 2:00 am My clothes were not properly washed or dried due to the poor condition of the equipment. I complained and they offered me to wash and dry again so I spent three hours in that smelly place. read more

I had an issue with the laundry machine that it took my 3.50 cents and I asked for assistance and there was a Puerto Rican guy working the night of it happened, he only told me to move my clothes and that he couldn't assist me until his manager came in the next morning , he was trying to make me look dumb , take your money elsewhere read more

I have a couple of larger blankets that don't fit in my current washer that guests use when they come over, so I don't make it a habit of doing laundry outside the house. And consequently, I had no idea where to turn, as I don't exactly live in the "best" area. My personal safety is of the utmost importance when finding a place to go by myself for a few hours, so I was pretty hesitant about being able to find a place close to home where I felt safe, but this place fit the bill. Plenty of seating, brightly lit inside, with a couple of attendants there too. PROS: -I felt safe doing my laundry here by myself. -Very well-lit, and clean inside. -Amenities include TVs, magazines, arcade games (yes, seriously...), and free wifi. -Tons of different sized washers, whether you need to do a small, delicate load, or a huge load of towels and comforters. CONS: -Only con is that you have to bring cash here, and they don't accept cards at the machines. TIPS: Bring quarters, as they don't accept bills. I believe there are a few machines inside where you can exchange cash for quarters. THE VERDICT: This really was a good experience. Not only did I feel safe there by myself, unlike other reviewers, no one accosted me or tried to chat me up. I did make sure to bring headphones and a book, so I tried to make myself as unapproachable as possible. As far as pricing goes, I don't have a lot of experience, but I was able to wash all of my big blankets for less than $7 and finally get the crud and stink of countless visitors off of them. So that was worth it to me. I can't speak about the drying prices, since I just used the dryer at home. I liked that this place has any number of sizing for washers: small, medium, large, and extra-large, so you can bring any manner of linens and clothes here and get them washed at an affordable price. read more

My friend's washer and dryer broke while I was crashing with them, so I needed to hit up a laundromat. This was the closest place, and had good reviews, so I gave it a whirl. Looked nice enough on the outside, with actual outside lights that worked! A good thing on Memorial Drive. Clean on the inside, and they have HUGE 10-load washers for $8 that fit my entire mega-load in one shot. Then, since I rolled up late, the dryers were free. The kicker - they have an overnight employee who speaks English, is EXTREMLY nice and helpful, answered a couple questions I had and even walked up to me to help me with a couple things. No complaints. Hope my friend's washer/dryer gets fixed soon, but I wouldn't hesitate for a second to come back here if I needed to. 5/5! read more

This was originally accidentally posted to the wrong company. This is the laundromat it was for: Don't be fooled by the bright colors. This place rips you off. After using three different washers and two separate dryers my clothes came out smelling like urine. The owner wasn't at all concerned and offered a "solution" that would put more money in his pocket. He even laughed at my situation on the phone. I doubt the machines are even properly cleaned. The attendant even told me that because they place is open 24 hours, they can't control who uses the machines. Update: I took my still dirty, urine smelling clothes to a different laundromat and they came out clean. So, the issue wasn't my clothes. Don't waste your money at this place. read more

I had to take a bunch of laundry to the wash/dry/fold because of some plumbing issues at my house. The place was cool, clean and uncluttered which is sometimes hard to find in laundromats. The young lady who helped me was great. She helped me bring in all of my items and weighed them. The price was about what I expected even though 75 cents a pound is a little more than I am used to paying. However, it was worth it. When I got my items back, they were folded so nicely and still warm, and to top it off, the fresh smell of Gain sealed the deal. My only small complaint is my items weren't ready when they said they would be and I drove over there for nothing. The employees were nice enough about it and apologized profusely. I will definitely go back to do my own laundry if need be or their wash/dry/fold service. read more

The laundromat was clean and most of the washers and dryers were operable. The attendant was very attentive and helpful. There were several washer size options ranging from a double to ten loads. There were also several options for dryers. You could even wash and dry up to 80lbs of clothes at the same time. The reason why I gave this establishment two stars is because some of the patrons were questionable. Maybe I went at the wrong time (Sunday at 5:00), but I didn't feel all that safe and the bathroom had a non-working toilet. I was hit on three times while I was with my 11-year-old daughter, the television station (we were actively watching) was changed twice without anyone asking if we were watching the program, two homeless people got onto a fight right in front of our folding table, some man proceeded to tell us his entire life story even though I wasn't paying him attention and the toilet in the women's bathroom was disgusting. If you want to try this place out during the day, the prices are very reasonable. If you don't mind the occasional homeless fight, random strangers talking to you, watching your program uninterrupted while folding your clothes, a toilet that doesn't flush or have soap or paper towels to dry your hands, then give it a whirl. read more

OK, this is a very straightfoward laundromat. First, parking is available right in front of the entrance and there's ample washers and dryers. The 5 load washers are $4.75 and washed two months worth of laundry at once! The cheapest wash is $2.50, and the dryer is 25 cents for 8 minutes. The machines work well, but they only accept quarters. Inside, there are change machines, and staff notices when the change machines or washers/dryers are broken (and they are clearly labelled and marked for repair). There's also plenty of seating, carts to use, open tables to fold out clothes, and some game stations. There's also always at least one staff working. I went on a Sunday morning, and even though it's a Sunday, there was no waiting for machines, especially since this place is 24/7, so there's not always a rush for machines. And this place is very safe and convenient to do laundry at any time! I'll be coming back here! O, and the free drying M-F after 10pm is real. And so is the drop off service (though I don't plan on using it since I can get my clothes done within 2 hours max). read more

This place is the cheapest that I'm aware of and I love that there's no last load/wash time since it's open 24h's. It's a tiny tad out of my way but its great when I want to drop off a load and go grocery shopping across the street at Krogers. I'm not sure if Spin Cycle Coin Laundry is the official business name since I can't even search for this place via google maps but its definetly there, right next to boost mobile and some car wash place. . This place looks new! It's huge!! Open 24 hours. Two rooms of all new washers and dryers. Less than $20 to wash 10-12 loads using the mega washers, and the dryers are free after 10pm! This is about a week or so overdue but it had to be done. After suffering in the Purgatory that is Columbia, SC (no shade to the Geechie peeps), it's good to be back home in a semi-normal setting with at least semi-normal people (I promise I'm not nearly as salty as I sound- some good folks up there). There are just far better options in a city like this, including not paying a car note price to wash clothes. I have to shout out Natalie Washington who was running the store during my visit. It was packed and I didn't have a lot of time. She told me when she expected machines to be available and told me about the extremely affordable wash and fold option. I only had a few hours to spare. She took it, made sure to use my detergent brand and gave me a call within my time frame though she was very busy herself. She was amazing. This place, like the Name was very clean and it also has WiFi. I highly recommend it. read more

I have been coming here for a year. The other laundrymat next door is more expensive and makes you buy a card...I just want to use my quarters. This is right by a pizza hut. 24/hr and cameras always on. I have never had any problems here. I would never leave my clothes unattended, but I have seen many people do so..clothes will be in dryers or washers for 2 hrs w no one taking them. And they say I live in the hood. I also have never had any trouble getting 4 or 5 loads done at once, even at peak hours. read more

Went in the middle of the day during the middle of the week and was able to get my 5 loads done in about an hour and a half despite there being many machines that weren't operable. No one bothered me and the guy working there helped me take my things out to my car. $2.75 fire the front loaders and $4.75 for the max loaders (I used it for 2 comforters and 2 pillows) and $0.25 for 8 min of drying. read more

This time I informed her and she literally got lost for about 14 minutes... then when she presented back, she asked if she could help me as if she had forgotten my request that fast. Easy and fast! 6 loads of laundry in total cost me $7 and about 90 minutes from the time I left my house, to the time I returned home. Mega loaders, friendly staff, and is bright and clean. Super clean. All appliances work great. The staff is nice and are always cleaning. The place is clean and rarely packed.

Friendly, clean atmosphere. TVs all around, and channel changed when something questionable came on. I have also enjoyed doing laundry there on Sunday morning and watching football!
