Di Matteo was hands down my favorite pizza stop in Naples…read more I ordered the Taste of Italy, which includes a slice of each different pie plus their fried pizza, and it's the perfect way to experience what they do best. Every slice was flavorful, well balanced, and unmistakably Neapolitan, with each one bringing something a little different to the table. The fried pizza really stood out, light, crisp, and not greasy at all. This place captures everything I love about pizza in Naples: confidence, tradition, and execution without overthinking it. A must-stop if you're serious about pizza.

Trattoria Don Vincenzo was practically walking distance from where we were staying on Spacanapoli…read morein Naples. Simple menu and super popular spot. We decided to come here for dinner and were craving a good seafood pasta. They also had their famous Seafood Risotto for two and we could decide, so we shared the seafood pasta as a starter and the Risotto for two for our entree. Service was great and friendly and our pasta was to die for! Spaghetti cooked perfectly al dente mixed with mussels and eggplant topped with parmigiano reggiano. Simple, straightforward, and super tasty. The vibe is awesome with outdoor dining and people watching going on, people are just in the moment of things and conversations the night away, NOT on their phones. I was expecting a pot of risotto to come to our table to split, but we were pleasantly surprised and super pumped that two full sized plates were delivered, fully loaded with clams, prawns and langoustines and a perfectly done risotto on the bottom. For 28 euros?(about $33 usd) You definitely won't get even ONE plate for that price in America! Needless to say, we were stuffed by the end of our meal and decided to walk it off in the bustling streets before seeking out dessert options.

We tried this Trattoria at Spaccanapoli and it was amazing. We ordered the Spaghetti alle Vongole…read moreand Gnocchi Sorrentino and they were delicious. Service was good and attentive. Place is nothing to write home about. Tables are all outside (no inside seating) and there aren't many, but if you can get a table please go and try this gem! Prices are excellent.

Great Italian food. We visited Trattoria La Campagnola on a Thursday night, and it was busy but…read morethere were tables available. All of the seating is outside at cheap chairs and tables with umbrellas. I tried the grilled salmon and grilled eggplant with the house red wine. I thought the wine was decent but not one that I would choose again. The salmon and eggplant were both perfectly cooked with excellent flavor. Overall, I would recommend the food at Trattoria La Campagnola.

This was my very first meal in Naples and I have yet to have anything better…read more I came with 3 friends and we shared several dishes Ziti allá Genovese - carmelized onions and braised meat gave this a slightly sweet flavor. My friends liked this the best Flore di zucca ripieno - zucchini flower stuffed with cheese and prosciutto I think. Very creamy Mozzarella in carrozza - after the flore di zucca it was a little bland but still tasty. Deep fried cheese! Spaghetti allo scarpariello - 2nd best dish of the night for me. A tomato based sauce with several Italian cheeses. Very tasty. Parmigiana di melanzane - freaking amazing! It was so delicious and has such a meaty flavor. We're coming back for this! Pasta patate e provola - tasty pasta that was very creamy. First time having potatoes in pasta. The service was great too. We're actually going back for tonight's dinner because it was so good!
