Joe, the salesman is a great guy very helpful, and he makes sure that everything is good after the sale. I had a problem with a fuse blowing on the seat heaters and passenger handles, though I didn't know that at the time. They took my sled in right away and two days later my sled was running fine. And this in the height of service season. I always find it's not how well things go when everything's fine, it's how things go when they're not. And so far this business has taken care of me in a thoughtful and trustworthy way

Last fall we had the restoration project started and this spring our new/ old boat was delivered. The only problem is that the organization that did the restoration, not Round Lake Marina, did not check the engine as they'd assure us they would. So here we are, with a beautiful, cosmetically restored boat, but the darn thing wouldn't start and if it did, it died randomly. Not the ideal situation for someone who doesn't know a motor from a steering wheel. Enter Round Lake Marina. Darrin, Rick and Aaron came to our rescue, gave the boat a nice little tune up at our dock and made sure "girls week" wasn't spent looking longingly at the lake. They've earned a customer for life starting now!!!

After vacationing in Hayward for 15 years or so, I finally visited the Wilderness Walk with my…read morekids. They really loved it. The Wilderness Walk is so much bigger than what you can see from the road. I was blown away by this too. And the kids could get so close to and feed lots of different animals, including goats, several types of birds (like pheasants, peacocks, chickens and more), a camel, deer, alpacas and rabbits. In fact, the deer along with the turkeys roamed free in the attraction. We looked in the teepee that guests are welcome to walk into, and right there was a deer -- same with the picnic area. The baby animal area was also a hit. The Wilderness Walk includes a "Wild West town" too, with a maze you can walk through, photo ops and more. One thing I'll say, some of the enclosures seemed a little small for the animals. Like the bear enclosure just looked so restrictive. My kids were most excited to see the bear, but they said they wanted to move along quickly after we were standing in front of it. And something to know before you go: Tickets are $13-$18 each. We can now say we've crossed this off our list.

Love this place. The staff are always friendly and the animals are very well cared for!read more

It's all about teaching kids to respect themselves, one another, and the environment. Young campers return from Camp Bovey with a renewed sense of purpose, new friendships, and life skills that go beyond learning how to start a camp fire, pitch a tent, fish, canoe and swim (they'll learn those things too, of course, among many other camping skills). This is a non-profit endeavor of East Side Neighborhood Services located in Minneapolis, so there's a sliding-scale fee for those who qualify and diversity among campers and staff. The back nine had a ton of elevation changes including a multi-tier fairway on one of the holes of the back nine.
