Came into shooters looking to make a purchase. It was moderately busy and if you aren't familiar…read morewith this store, it's easy to think that they don't have good customer service, but to the contrary, if you have a little patience, you will get very careful and individual attention. My representative Christian was extremely helpful in helping me choose my firearm and had lots of patience with me as I asked questions and tried different set ups out. After some back and forth, I ended up making my decision and even purchased a new can after some valuable insight. Shooters prices and selection is top tier as far as any brick and mortar shops are concerned. They have budget friendly up to enthusiast level selections as far as pricing goes. They sell a wide variety of products ranging from firearms, knives, and gun safes, to coolers, polarized shades, and other outdoor supplies. PS. This place has the cleanest bathroom I have ever been in outside of my own home. If you have never been to Shooters, it's at the very least worth a stop by to browse, just remember to pack a little patience, and enjoy.

Absolutely horrible place to shop…read more Before leaving the house this morning, I called the store to make sure they had a couple of magazines that I wanted, in stock. They did and so I made the 30 mile, one-way drive to their store to pick up a couple of magazines. Their price for the magazines on the website was $23.99. However when I tried to check out, the price had jumped to $30 per magazine. Even on Smith and Weston's website, these magazines retail for $26. But that didn't make a difference. When I told them they were $23.99 on their website, the response was yes, but that's plus shipping. I said that's exactly why I drove to the store so I wouldn't have to pay shipping. But she would not honor the website price. No problem. There are lots of online dealers that will sell me the magazines and even with shipping, their price will be less than what I would pay at this establishment. The idea of customer service doesn't exist at this store. And I will do everything in my power to tell everybody that I know who's interested in buying any type of firearm or firearm accessory, to never make a purchase at Shooter's.

Jim provided a lot of good information and insight and was very helpful. We found out they are opening an indoor shooting range next week so that's pretty cool. It appeared to be a nice set up for practice and trying different firearms. Prices seemed to be on par with other gun shops but Jim said no one would beat their prices.

A CAUTIONARY TALE for future customers of St Nicholas Gun and Sporting Goods…read more In 2018, I was given a gift certificate with no expiration date to use at St Nicholas' new gun range. I took a friend for a range session. I used the gift certificate to pay for both of our range charges. There was a balance of approximately $48.00 on the gift certificate. I was handed a St Nicholas-branded receipt with the remaining balance handwritten. I stuffed the receipt in my gun bag. Years pass. While cleaning out my gun bag one day, I found the gift certificate receipt with the outstanding balance. Returned today for another range session. Pulled out the gift certificate balance, here again with no expiration date, to pay, and was told that it would not be honored. The reason? There was a new owner. Admittedly, it had been a while since I had used the gift certificate. Still, regardless of time, the money had been paid to St Nicholas Gun and Sporting Goods. Take this experience as a cautionary tale that may or may not influence any future business you might consider doing with St Nicholas Gun and Sporting Goods.
