very disappointed at the lack of communication and response from a manger and their employee…read more i had given avril ( one of the travel agents who work there) 2 major trips and referred a freind who also spent a good amount of money with her travels you would think that Avril would be appreciative and reply to me or do her best to make sure i was a happy customer . since this business is all about the referrals and there is tremendous competition out there my first complaint is the following i needed a letter from the russian embassy in their native language granting permission to visit there country. i could not get one even though we are dealing with there partner in russia . they gave me such a hard time for a simple letter and i never received it . and the manager had been notified and never got involved the second is my trip to california i booked the hotel postranch through them which i could have done on my own. as we all know how to do but i figure let avril make some money . she booked a room that was not facing the beach and i assumed all rooms face the beach . in her email that she claims she did mention to me that i had a choice of tree house or beach .thats a lie i have the email saying i had a choice of two rooms and she gives the price . how would i know one was the ocean and one was the forest !! the hotel was 1800 a night i would never had paid that facing a forest which i could have done at any hotel in that area for 400 a night i would never use there company again too bad for them since i am always traveling. what an ignorant company .

Once in Mexico I was told i never purchased upgrades but coupons for items i never would have used. The travel agent sided with the hotel and kept telling me that the room i had been given was ocean front and worth the upgrade price despite me sending her pictures of my "ocean front" room with absolutely no view of the ocean. My husband and I had to spend a good portion of our honeymoon fighting with the hotel management to get what we paid for and sit through a time share pitch! STAY AWAY from this travel agency unless you want to give up parts of your prized vacation time to get things taken care of that the travel agency should have handled. They do too little to late to even attempt to get things right. They got our room upgraded - after we had been communicating for 3 DAYS and my husband and I had finally gotten ourselves upgraded to actually SEE the ocean. Stick to booking your vacations yourself or maybe AAA.

I've had AAA insurance on my vehicles for as long as I can remember and have found them to be a godsend when a battery dies or your author idiot locks his keys in the car. Every year they send me a renewal notice for an outrageous amount and every year I call them to reduce their MSRP by half. Five minutes, over and done. BTW, SiriusXM also operates by the same rules of... hope you just automatically pay the renewal and don't look too closely. Whatever the dance, AAA is definitely worth it as there's no substitute for having a solution to being 100 miles from home and needing a tow. Thanks AAA, I'm looking forward to this year's tango.
