The layout and decor is very calming and neutral with a bar located by the door along with the area for takeaway pick-ups. The menu is extensive to say the least with many styles of Asian cooking listed including regional variants on some dishes. The portions are large and the presentation gives the impression you are in one of the finest restaurants around. The food is all freshly prepared on site and cooked in a clay oven with excellent standards all around. Along with the reasonably priced meals are an inexpensive all you can eat buffet lunch. Rather than having crust on the surface from using heat lamps, Spice lounge use kerosene burners to keep the containers hot without sacrificing on the quality of the food. The staff are friendly and helpful, they tend to read your body language rather than either go missing or pester you every five minutes. Service goes a long way to any person's experience in a restaurant and the staff at Spice Lounge do not make you feel an inconvenience as some restaurants will do. Whether it's a business lunch or a family meal, Spice Lounge seems to tick all the boxes.
