Their coleslaw is also delicious - I had to order an extra portion! It's a family run establishment and the staff are super friendly. The restaurant are currently applying for their liquor license so they don't sell alcohol at the moment but they are quite happy for you to bring your own booze to enjoy with your meal. The restaurant itself is quite small but does have a few tables for you to eat in. Let's get down to the important bits, the food of course! The jerk chicken served here, without a doubt is the best I've had, and that honestly is saying a lot, since I've been eating Caribbean food ever since I grew my first tooth. They serve up great portions for around 5 quid and the coleslaw is just the icing on the cake with the meal. The chicken, rice & peas is bursting with flavour and full of sauce, so none of that dry, dead rubber chicken you tend to find in most places. The menu also consist other Jamaican dishes, Curry mutton, dumpling, ox tail. If you have a sweet tooth like I do- Banana bread and lemon cake definitely has your name on it. You can wet your throat after a meal with the typical Caribbean KA's, Bigga and D&G soft drinks- or some homemade nutriment juice/guinness punch. You can also find that if you happen to be in the area around lunch time (12-3pm), there will be special lunch time deals, which is always a nice little surprise for the wallet.
