Gort at the entrance

I absolutely did enjoy my experience although I'm not a huge fan of the Wizard of Oz. All of the interactive elements that I experienced were delightful. I will say that the seats are quite small so if you are a person of a certain size you may be uncomfortable for the duration of the show. The sphere is packed for each and every show so it's best to try and get a seat that is not in the gallery--although it may be a big difference in price your comfort should be paramount.

I'm Just a Girl... in The Sphere!! WOWWW, what an ahhhmazing experience seeing NO DOUBT inside here!! The last time I saw them was back in '96 at the 91X Sunfest outdoor festival in Diego - wow now that's a blast from the past. So seeing them again here at the Sphere was definitelyy exciting!! Don't Speak... just LOOK around!! Between the incredible sound, larger than life visuals && mesmerizing videos surrounding us, we were completely blown away!! Seriouslyyy, there was sooo much happening everywhere you looked! We sat in Section 406, Row 10 dead center and had the most incredible views of the entire show!! We even caught 2 oranges - now that's Hella Good!! From the music to the mind-blowing visuals, the entire concert start to finish was everythinggg && then some!! No Doubt about it, the Sphere is unlike ANY concert venue we've experienced and we highlyyy recommend it!! We'll be back in February for Metallica and we can NOT wait to see them rocks to the core!!

I finally had the chance to see The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere, and it was well worth the wait. I arrived about 45 minutes early via the indoor walkway from the Venetian, and I'm glad I did. The line was long and bag checks were underway, but I still had plenty of time to grab a drink and settle into my seat. This was my first interactive theater experience, and I loved every minute. The level of detail was incredible, and even though I've seen this movie a million times, I was captivated from start to finish. The experience actually begins in the walkway, where birdsong fills the air and stunning displays line the entrance. If you ever get the chance to see a movie or event at the Sphere, I highly recommend it!

Sphere at The Venetian Resort is a brand new performance venue in Las Vegas (opened in September 2023). It is currently the largest spherical building in the world with 17,600 seats and is also best known for its giant spherical exterior LED displays. Our party recently came here to see The Backstreet Boys' 2026 summer residency. [Parking]: Very limited onsite parking and most attendees come here by other modes of transportation (e.g. ridesharing). [Entrance]: Most attendees use the Venetian Bridge stairway for Standard Admission entry to sections 100 / 200 / 300 / 400. The West Entry and East Entry entrances are reserved for floor sections, VIP & Suite access, or accessible entry. The bridge stairway entry is on the Terrace Level by default (4th level - section 200s) and attendees will need to take escalators or elevators to get to the Main Level (2nd level - sections 100), Lower Gallery (6th level - sections 300s and 400s, rows 1 - 15), and Upper Gallery (7th level - section 400s, rows 16+). [Section 406 Row 11]: This is one of those unusual venues in which the lower sections (section 100s) are cheaper than the upper sections (section 400s) as attendees in the lower sections will need to tilt their heads up to see the complete interior LED visuals. Section 406 has some of the best seats as this section lets fans enjoy a 270-degree onscreen projection without having to tilt their heads too much, but the level is really high so if you have a fear of heights then maybe think twice before picking section 406. Our party paid approximately $250 per person for this section. [Experience - sound and visual effect]: My seat was vibrating with haptic technology while the visuals had a 3D-like effect. If you get dizzy from watching 3D movies, then the visual effects from the Sphere can cause some dizziness. The sound was very loud and luckily attendees can get free earplugs at the customer service kiosk. [Exiting]: It was somewhat of a chaotic experience as everyone tried to leave the venue through the Venetian Bridge entry. [Conclusion]: It was a sensory overload experience from the 3D-like visual effects, immersive sound system, and high-up / steep / cramped seats in the 400 sections. I can see how some attendees find this venue exhilarating while other attendees struggle to enjoy the actual event. P.S. - The weather can get really hot in Vegas so I highly recommend entering the Sphere via The Venetian Resort and using the indoor Venetian Bridge stairway.

Wow wow wow!! This is the way to experience a concert!! It's hard to explain the effects!! No Doubt was amazing.

Definitely one of the best attractions in Vegas! Highly recommend coming here for a concert or one of the immersive experiences. Seating: I've sat in Sections 200, 300, and 400, and I prefer Sections 200 or 300. I haven't sat in Section 100. However, according to AI, the overhang starts around Rows 20 to 24, which may result in an obstructed view. Tips: Do not get drunk before or during the show! I've seen people complaining that the stairs in Sections 300 and 400 are too steep, so keep that in mind when choosing your seats. Also, bring a light jacket if you tend to get cold. Each concert also includes access to an experience room at the Venetian, where you can take pictures and purchase souvenirs, so be sure to check it out before or after the show. I've seen Postcard from Earth, Backstreet Boys, and Eagles here, and I really enjoyed every show I've attended. Even though I'm not an Eagles fan, the entire experience made the concert so enjoyable. I was especially surprised to see this legendary band perform for two hours without an opener! Book a ticket and enjoy the show when you're in town. You won't regret it!

Brian M.

Watched few concerts here so far and enjoyed all of it. This place is great! I feel like the whole immersive experience elevates the artists to another level when they perform. I like that there's a direct access from Venetian so you avoid the summer heat. Definitely a must if you are in Las Vegas and there's a concert.

Gigi J.

There's truly nothing that compares to Sphere, but man, those upper seats are terrifying! The auditorium is so steep and narrow--one wrong step and it feels like they're falling to their deaths! Be careful up there, peeps! Note to self: Uber straight to the red carpet drop-off next time! Walking all the way through The Venetian felt like an endless maze up, down, and around back streets. That said, it's an incredible venue, and I'm so glad we caught The Wizard of Oz before it wrapped up. Incredible show, mind-blowing sound, and top-tier special effects!

Roger L.

This place is freaking mind blowing. Never thought you could be this immersed in a movie!! The lobby is like the Guggenheim and the theatre is the most modern display imaginable!

For you Disney lovers this place is "Soaring" meets your favorite concert venue. Make sure you check the view from your desired seat so you don't miss the experience during shows as some seats have their views obstructed by the overhang. Section 100s row 20 is sort of the cut off for obstructed views if you want to see both the performer and the show on screen. The sound quality is impeccable and there is plenty to see and do before the show. My one big complaint is the cupholders if the person in front of you gets up and your drink is more than halfway full you will get showered with it! 'Whats that scent you're wearing?' 'Oh it's the new eau de beer is so good here I'm gonna wear it' fragrance!

What an amazing experience at the Sphere we had to see watching The Wizard of Oz. From entering the parking lot till we left the experience was amazing. Parking at the Sphere is very simple and the staff has it perfected. Self parking or Valet. They have their handicap section and a designated section for there Uber and Lyft drivers. There is plenty of staff directing traffic to ensure pedestrians walking along are safe and drivers are going where they need to go. When entering the venue there are plenty of staff who are able to assist you as well in directing you to your seating. There is not a bad seat at the Sphere but the higher seats do require you to walk up some steep steps so do be cautious when selecting your tickets. It is so easy to become a kid again while emerging yourself in all the excitement of the movie with the flying monkeys and the wind blowing, apples falling , and the amazing graphics. There was not one bad part of the show and I would go see it over and over again.

James W.

This is hands down the best MUST SEE venue in Las Vegas! The experience is life-changing and really amazing. I was inspired by the creativity and design of the Sphere. Always looking forward to the different shows and concerts here. I always recommend this place to everyone who visits Vegas, just go and you will be blown away!

Just 13 when self-titled dropped I didn't get a chance to see Metallica in their Toledo Sports Arena days, but beginning with The Palace at Auburn Hills in 1997 it's been interesting to watch such an exponential boom in popularity. From back-to-back shows at Pine Knob, to 3 hours in the rain at Woodstock 99 and ringing in a millennium with 60,000+ at the Silverdome I saw Metallica 6 times in 3 years and another 4 times since. Never once have they put on less than an amazing show. Now in "legends" mode, rich and polished and routine, surprises are rare, but implementing all the bells and whistles of the Sphere shows just how and why this band helped define a genre they continue to front some 40 years later. Remember, just because a band you love becomes so big that they truly are a *business* doesn't mean you need to stop loving them or the path that got them there. If you have the means, #lifeburnsfaster is worth the money, it for no other reason than the scope of the project plus the fidelity of the sounds and visuals.

Ask the Community - Sphere

Does anyone know what the temperature is like in sphere during the Eagles concert?

Been here for other events. It's comfortable relative to outside in Vegas. Not sure that helps but was my personal experience. 70 degrees. A-C.

As someone who's sustained/survived being internally decapitated & consequently has lots of hardware in my neck, what section would you recommend I sit in?

205-208 or 305-308 so you can look directly at the screen in front of you. They are more centered and you will have a full direct view of the panoramic screen.

Taking 2 elderly handicapped ladies to the show on Thursday. We are Ubering down, is there an entrance to be dropped off or how do I get them to the show?

You can request a wheelchair assist from the ride share area

What are the upcoming venues through December 2025?

Only way to find out is by going to their website: https://www.thesphere.com/shows

It's my first time to visit Sphere and i'm not interested to watch a concert. How do i get a ticket to get inside the place and just explore? TIA…

There's no explore, if you don't want to attend a concert then you can buy a ticket for the Wizard of Oz or the Experience. Those two are the only way to explore the Sphere ... or a concert!…

Is there restaurants and good food at the sphere?

You can order fast food at the Sphere. Ie. chicken tenders, chips, etc… The Sphere is also attached to the Venetian Hotel with an all indoor walkway, so you can go to their restaurants and food court, pre and post show too.

Section 210 first row or section 203 6 rows back - what seats do you think would be better?

I would always choose the first row. Sat first row center in 300's and it was ideal.

Can I buy tickets at The Sphere on the day of the showing for Postcards from Earth?

Yes, but it is better to buy ahead of time online so you can choose your seats and to make sure they are not sold out for the day. There are discount vendors online such as Vegas.com where you can purchase tickets cheaper.

Are kids 2yo allowed? And if so what's the best show for them to see?

I don't know what their official rules are, but I think a two-year-old would be overwhelmed by the Sphere experience in any capacity. It is loud, flashing lights...could be scary.

Are they really strict with the bag dimension?

Sphere is a "no bag" facility, meaning that large bags and backpacks are not permitted inside the venue. Small clutches, purses, and fanny packs that are no larger than approximately 6 in. x 6 in. x 2 in., as well as diaper bags and bags required…

How long it the bridge to sphere?

Takes about 15-20 minutes to walk it

Is it cold inside The Sphere? Will I need a long sleeve shirt?

I went at the end of March. The temperature indoors was just right. Short sleeves would not be a problem.

Which section has the most comfortable seats?

Me and my wife sat right in the middle Sec 206, Row 16, Seat 15 - 16. These were awesome seats, great view of the whole screen. I think anywhere 207-205 would be the best, higher rows the better (rows 6-16). Section 100s are too low, you're looking…

Is food available at the sphere?

Yes. My bottle of water was &12.

Do they play movie in there?

The sphere requires a very complex camera for all footage used inside so they currently only have one movie--Postcard from Earth. I hope to see more movies in there soon!

Are security lines a long wait or do they move pretty quickly?

The crowds are a mess. The line stops for several minutes at a time, with no explanation or instructions about which line goes where. The staff are playing on their cell phones, not paying attention, just collecting a paycheck. I asked one…

Has anyone parked at the adjacent H parking lots? Is it a very long walk to/from the Sphere? Going after F1 & reserved onsite parking but Sphere refunded due to F1. If having difficulty walking, park at Venetian or H lots (H1 better?) -w/c better?

H1 was easy to use and just a couple of blocks. Easy walk.

Where are the bathrooms and emergency exits?

Please look for the signs, Restrooms and Emergency Exits are clearly marked.

What time should I arrive for the U2 show?

I stayed at Paris. Definitely recommend walking. Traffic is a stand-still before and after the show.

Are they strict on the purse policy of 6 by 6?

My purse was slightly bigger...maybe 6"x8"? & I had no issues going thru with it. I thought they'd make me open the purse & check but they just had everyone go thru the metal detectors.

The wait area to get in is large and spacious, with many lines that moved fast and were organized. There were concessions throughout the different levels and lots of bathrooms. The security guards guided us through and no problems whatsoever. They let us know which floor we needed to access our seats. Lots of employees walking around in uniform to make sure everything went smoothly. There were some employees walking around with those bins with drinks and ice. We got a few drinks after using the restrooms and headed to our seats. We were sitting seats a little above the ground floor and it was such a good view. The stage is huge and I love that there are 2 monitors on the side so you can see the performers. For this festival, we went on the 2nd day to Le Sserrafim and other artists. Sound system was amazing. Perfect loudness and the speakers have great sound quality. We were thoroughly impressed by the T-Mobile Arena all together for how great it is organized and the whole production. There were a lot of lights, and sparklers. Bartender did not highlight or promote MJB's Sun Goddess wine. Bottle was placed on the far back bar. He couldn't even make basic drinks like a Moscow Mule because he didn't have the soda! I have purchased pre show receptions for MJB and other artists in the past and the lack of consideration and preparation for guests at Park MGM was shocking! Guests were clearly underwhelmed, highly disappointed and confused. The vibe was better suited for a funeral than an event. Fortunately, we were able to find the Queen's chair for a photo in the building (which felt like a far stretch after being forced to stand for an hour at the pre show). These tickets were well over 100 a piece. If your goal is to spend upwards of 300 to stand around for an hour in an esthetically starved environment, in almost total silence, with a drink and small bite...Have at it. This is my first and last time attending any Park MGM event. Highly recommend you pass on the Pre Show event. If you've done these in the past you will be incredibly disappointed. A much better alternative...Take a photo in the chair located in the hall and make reservations for dinner. You'll pay the same price, but will be seated and fed!
