I'm trying to get back into running, am taking a Saturday TRX class, and am on a cheer team so my body get a decent beating over the weekend. I felt welcomed the minute I walked through the door and was educated on what to expect for my first stretch. I was greeted by the kind Peter (pan) at the front desk and walked through the signing of waivers. My experience included a squat analysis to assess my mobility, activation, asymmetry and posture. Kristin knew what I needed to work on based on the results and walked me through the results of my test. She provided a safe space for me to let go and release tension in my body, always checking in on pressure and how I was feeling. I loved the music playing in the background too. This was a wonderful way to decompress and I will definitely be back again! Thank you stretch labs team for allowing me to release stress so I can go back out to the world and spread some joy. There are mats, boosters, and blankets for you to use if you do not have your own. Which you can absolutely bring and use if you choose. There are so many classes to choose from, at any level, you can find something that works for you and your body. Thank you to Katie the owner of Moonflower studio. Katie is such a grounded, sweet and talented yogi. I left my practice feeling invigorated and peaceful.

The instructor was calming and professional. It was just what I needed on those moody autumn day. My spirit feels lighter and some of my aches and pains are gone. They music was just right and the pace was perfect! As soon as they build one in my community, I'm a life member and funny yoga all the time. It reinforced the idea that I had to make time to care for myself in spaces that make me feel good with people who support my growth and on days when I least feel like doing it The best wishes to this business. Also they set all of the exercise up for you so you know you workout will be dece. The exercises change everyday so you don't feel like same shit different day. My favorite part is that you travel around nine stations so you only have to do each station for three min, mentally that is nice cuz shit I can do anything for 3 minutes. The work outs are a combination of boot camp, classic all body exercises and boxing. I wish there a more boxing to be honest. I mean I brought my gloves I want to use them and use them right, not just fiddle around with jabs and upper cuts. Like don't come here if you tryna get better at fighting, not going to happen. But the exercises I will say are more creative and effective than I could come up with. There gym equipment is nice and they have a lot of it. The atmosphere is kind of intense and I wish the music was a little less hard core and more hip hop. But people put in work here and the staff seems dedicated. I can say this, I don't like working out and I have joined a number of gyms, this is the one that I have stuck with the longest.

I stopped by yesterday for a double-header: a Pilates session with Master Instructor Trey Fry (yes,…read moremaster--like a Pilates Jedi), followed by a session with Physical Therapist Garrett, who somehow managed to find muscles I didn't even know I owned. Today, I came back for more with a killer session led by Sam, who is as delightful as they are deceptively good at making your core question its life choices. Let's talk ambience: this place is stunning. It's housed in a historical building that looks like it's been standing strong since Mozart was in diapers--and honestly, the vibes are just as majestic. The space is bright, airy, and laid out so beautifully it could be featured in an architectural magazine titled "Places That Make You Want to Exercise." Now, I've worked in the fitness industry for years, so I walked in thinking I had a pretty good handle on things. I was wrong. So wrong. These sessions will humble you in the best way possible. You'll work muscles you forgot existed, uncover weak spots you didn't know were weak, and come out feeling like a better, bendier, more aware version of yourself. That's excellent so that you can improve yourself. =] The staff? Brilliant. Warm, hilarious, and so good at what they do. They somehow manage to make intense workouts feel like a party--if parties involved shaking legs and the sudden realization that your glutes have been freeloading for years. Whether you're a teenager, a marathon runner, a retired teacher, or an Olympic hopeful, this place meets you where you're at and takes you further. But fair warning: they will make you work.
