I called Bloomberry Flowers and Gifts on a Friday at 10 minutes before 4:00 pm. Ten minutes before they close. The service started at 10:00 am. On Saturday, the shop doesn't open until 10:00! I wasn't sure they would even pick up the phone. The sweetest lady heard me and said yes, she was sending several items from her shop to the church. She said she knew it started at 10:00 and our flowers would be there on time. My husband and one of my sons were at the service. They came home and couldn't wait to tell me that the big basket of plants I ordered was the most beautiful item there. Everyone kept coming up to tell them all about the gorgeous basket. The one I ordered at 4:00, the afternoon before, and this lovely lady had it there at the church before the people started to come in the next moment. Finding a florest this day and time is almost impossible. My mom was a florist for most of her life, so she absolutely knows how to properly care for flowers and how long fresh flowers are supposed to last. Healthy flowers should last at least a week -- not barely two days. What made this experience even worse was the customer service. The very first thing they asked was whether my mom was "taking care of them properly," immediately implying it was our fault. After I explained my mom's professional background, I was basically told, "There's nothing we can do. Our flowers are fresh." Clearly, they were not fresh. When I asked whether they were really okay selling a $100 bouquet that dies in under 48 hours and refusing to make it right, I was met with attitude and told they were "busy" and that "nobody has ever complained before." That response was dismissive, unprofessional, and honestly insulting. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable -- just accountability for poor quality flowers and terrible customer service. Instead, I was blamed, brushed off, and refused any kind of resolution. I will not order from them again, and I would strongly recommend others think twice before spending their money here.
