My privacy was violated by a specific staff member at the Bismarck, ND Spencer's. I went in around 3:40 pm today to pick up an online order under my name. The first employee to help me was nice and asked me if I had my I.D to prove that it was my order, to which I said I didn't have it on me (it was in my car). I was told then that I needed I.D, so I willingly showed my school profile from my phone which had my picture and my name and showed it to her. At this time another employee walked up to me, looked at my picture and my full name, then told me to open my Facebook profile to prove that I was who I said I was. I tried to show her, but my Facebook wasn't loading even while being on WiFi. While waiting, the employee that told me to show her my social media page started to talk down to me about how I shouldn't be driving without an I.D, and that I could get a ticket. I am well aware of that but my I.D was in my car so there was no need to tell me that. When my Facebook loaded and she saw my information, she gave the go ahead to the first employee and that was that. I didn't see a name tag on her, but she had on a white/light colored sort of shirt and had short hair. read more
