The out the door cost was over $12,000. They agreed to remove the 2500 for extended warranty, but not the $1200+ for "environmental fees " (he said it covered 3 month bumper to bumper and a protective coating.) Things used car dealers are notorious for adding that is simply to pad the cost and add no value.I understand taxes and licensing fees , and I had calculated that into my budget, but I refuse to pay above the reasonable amount that is necessary. If the owner reads this , please be up from in your pricing. Simply add the cost you need to the sticker price. Doing this after only makes your company look dishonest. I would have paid more for that car , unfortunately the method applied made me disappointed, integrity is important to me and vital to where I spend my money. Good luck and no Bad will towards you. Since I do not, the next best thing was finding LA Auto which is Woman owned and Operated to fix my ride! LA Auto was brought to my attention thanks to the Projects feature in the Yelp App. I sent out a request for a job or service and Yelp broadcasted it to businesses to reach out to me concerning the service. I had initially had a different mechanic before LA Auto that was going to do the job, but a price change occurred before the vehicle was in their possession. Decide to nix that mechanic and go back to the drawing board acquiring estimates for the job. By this point, I had already ordered and picked up my parts directly from the dealership so they would match my vehicle. All I needed was the labor to complete the repair. I was really intrigued that there was a Woman owned and operated auto shop in Houston, so I decided to reach back out to the shop about an estimate for labor. My inquiry was Friday afternoon, so I didn't expect to hear back until Monday. Liz, the Owner, however, was in contact with me in and out the entire weekend asking for pictures of the parts to ensure they were correct for the vehicle based on the VIN as well as making sure they didn't need to paint the handles. She gave me a range on the price for the labor, which I could understand because she never saw the vehicle before- only pictures of the damage. We did most of our communication on Monday which offerred a great opportunity for me to get the car fixed that afternoon since she had an opening. I honestly thought I may have to come back another day to get the job completed because EVERY OTHER BODY SHOP I SPOKE TO said I would have to drop the car off just to get an estimate. I did that with one Pearland body shop and received a quote of over a THOUSAND dollars just to fix some handles! They even stated the labor was high because the panels of the car had to be removed. Thanks to Youtube, II knew that was not the case and Liz the owner and my mechanic confirmed my research as she completed the work on the vehicle in less than an hour WITHOUT removing the inside panels. She worked fast and I was even able to see her work from the office which provides a chair or two inside for waiting customers. A/C is blizzard cold inside the waiting area, so bring a jacket. This is not your car dealership waiting room with tvs and refreshments, so bring your own, but Liz worked so fast I didn't need to indulge in either! Really friendly, sincere, and affordable service from Liz at LA Auto. I am so glad to not only have my car repaired (FINALLY, with the exception of one small part that the dealership gave me in error that doesnt affect the main fix) but I am so estatic to support a small business owned and operated by women. I am telling everyone I know about LA Auto if they ever need repairs on their vehicle. This place is a real gem and deserves to shine!

I…read morewas told the car had passed a valid Texas state inspection, and I was even given paperwork showing a clean report. Based on that information, I moved forward with the purchase in good faith. Less than 24 hours later, the dashboard lit up with multiple warning lights. Concerned, I took the car to AutoZone for a free diagnostic scan. The results were shocking -- the car failed in multiple areas, filling two full pages of error codes and mechanical issues. This car never should have passed a state inspection. This tells me that either: * The inspection report I was given was fraudulent, or * Lone Star Motor Company knowingly sold a car in unsafe condition while falsely claiming it was road-ready. I contacted the dealership immediately. Instead of helping or offering a refund, they completely refused to take responsibility -- even though I reported the issue within 24 hours of purchase. I am requesting: * A full refund for the vehicle * A formal investigation into this dealership's inspection practices * Action by the Better Business Bureau and consumer protection authorities to hold this business accountable This experience has caused me serious stress, financial strain, and concern for my safety. Before driving to the dealer I called to confirm the availability and the access to the vehicle, mind you this was 5pm and was told that they closed at 7pm and I could purchase. Upon my arrival a very nice young lady assisted me and said she was waiting on George to come back. When he got back baby he was rude to me and very dismissive. They basically kicked us out the dealership and wasn't trying to sell us a vehicle. We went right next door and bought a car. I often look at reviews and don't do business with companies that have bad ratings. However I attempted to give them the benefit of the doubt. This dealer is probably the worst in south Houston or Pasadena Texas. I don't recommend anyone who's spending hard earned money to come here. George is rude and shouldn't be allowed to sell cars for the dealership. He has given the owner a bad name. Again the lady who works here is very kind and helpful and Issac I believe might be kind.
