The house we bought went on the market and we got a showing within the hour. Addyson didn't hesitate to book us and got us in right away. We knew this is the one and Addyson started the paperwork that night and we were able to submit the offer the next day. Our offer was accepted and Addyson guided us along the way of what we needed to do. She was on the ball with everything! I dealt with a few other realtors before I found Addyson and wasn't impressed. They were too slow with getting back to me and you have to be fast to get the house you want. With Addyson's help, we were able to close and officially bought our new home. We are so excited and we are getting married in a couple months! We were waiting for the home to get married and now our dreams can come true! Addyson is very nice and she would love to help you find your new home too!! We got our picture taken with her big key sign which we were thrilled to do in front of our home. You can get your picture with her key sign in front of your home too!! She may even borrow the big bow (my fiancé surprised me with for our picture at the house) to add to your picture. Very thoughtful touch to the perfect picture of your home!! Call Addyson and she can help you find your home!! Even if you are going to sell your home, Addyson would be helpful with doing that too!

Plenty of dumpsters and some really friendly neighbors in my building. Generally quiet and I was able to get a lot of work done. As other portions were perfectly smooth, we had hoped to get at least ONE company to agree to do only what we needed (2 others did not or gave very high estimates ---the damaged 1/4th portion only a few hundred dollars less than the entire job---) to urge us to redo the entire driveway unnecessarily. Very fair and reasonable costs. Great crews of efficient prep and paving workmen who paid attention to detail and removed 2 huge roots just waiting to make trouble. This company is a 12 on a scale of 10. ------ Whole neighborhood was impressed with their careful movement of huge machinery in a tight corner with a narrow street and alleyway.

After they left, instead of a crater filled with shake I had a crater filled with asphalt. We tried to resolve with them. They said the estimate called for a certain amount of pavement and that is what they used. If they'd come when they were supposed to, I would've been home and able to approve a change. Wouldn't it be better to talk to the homeowner and inform them That more pavement is needed rather than do it halfway?? We tried to resolve it with them. They said they'd have to dig it all out and start over (not my problem), and they'd do it at a discounted rate. No thank you. I'll hire someone who will do it right.

I don't know if the service guys were blowing protocol or if the assurance that they would be masked was not serious - I have no way to know. What I do know is that this business failed to do what they said they would do in this instance. If you are someone who cares about this issue, I would steer clear of these folks.

I wish I could give a zero star review. Three weeks have gone by without a response to my last…read moreemail regarding the estimate from DB Homes. I wish I could say that it was an honest mistake on your part; however, this is typical of the customer service I've come to expect from DB Homes. We have called your Johnstown, PA office numerous times with the same excuse given to us from the receptionist..."Chad and Keith are both busy right now. I can give them a message you called." Weeks would go by without a callback or a response to our email. We continued to try to contact Chad or Keith for information regarding the $300,000+ house we wanted to build with DB Homes. We had two property owners waiting for our word to sell us their properties. We told them for weeks that we were waiting to hear from DB Homes regarding questions we had about our estimate. We never heard back from Chad or Keith. It is with sincere sorrow and deep disappointment that we have to inform you we are no longer interested in any type of business with DB Homes. Our experience with your company has been nothing but a disappointment and frankly pathetic experience with a sales team that is far too busy for our business. We have posted our review on Yelp. We have informed everyone we know to never use DB Homes.

Everyone wants to order their house asap - but DB knows (through experience) how people can change their mind about what they THINK they want -vs- what they REALLY want in their home. So DB does not rush through the ordering process, which saves a lot of headaches down the road once construction has started. After we meet with them, our price quotes come within a week - then we review the quote and make any necessary changes, then schedule an appointment with them to make those changes (or we can email it to them). Then we get our new quote in a week. (and there's no mistakes - everything we said we wanted was quoted accurately!). The 1st place we went to - they were NOT professional - took forever to get our quotes and when we did there were TONS of mistakes even though I gave them paper copies, photos, and emails of what we needed to order, then it took over a month before I'd hear ANYTHING from them - after 4 months of inaccurate quotes and hassles, we gave up on Hemminger Homes and went to somewhere else. The 2nd place we went to, Mt. View Homes, promised we would have our price quote in a week........and that was 4 weeks ago, and they haven't even bothered trying to contact us at all.......so we contacted DB Homes. DB Homes had me email them our floor plans prior to our 1st appointment (our appointment was the same week we initially called them), and when we met with them for the 1st time, they gave us price quote estimates based on our floor plans that we sent them - VERY IMPRESSIVE. AND, they were extremely understanding and nice to our 4 year old granddaughter who was with us for hours as we went through our options for the homes........Keith even went to the Disney Channel and asked her what she would like to watch. They also treated her to paper/pens, pretzels, cookies, crackers, candy, and even some toys!
