Booked them over a month ago to move elderly neighbor from one studio apartment to another. Sent them a list of everything to move it was about 5 items dresser, desk, armoire, vanity a few boxes and clothes. Nothing heavy. No stairs. No appliances. They quoted me 150 an hr. Thought we were all set... But of course the guy calls me the day before the move and says it's going to be $250 an hour. Classic bait and switch super rude left us scrambling to find another mover last minute. We ended up going with another company who came in clutch with 3 guys for $120 hr. They were done in under 3 hours with the entire move including travel and a 15 minute uncharged break. read more

My wife and I hired Speedy's Moving for our transition from a one-bedroom in Santa Monica to a two-bedroom apartment in Hermosa Beach, and it was worth every penny! As a chiropractor, I was particularly cautious about not injuring my back during the move, and choosing Speedy's was a fantastic decision. Their rates are a bit higher compared to others like Two Men and a Truck, but the quality of service is unparalleled. Ben G., the owner, was incredibly supportive, and his team was top-tier--efficient, quick, and extraordinarily careful with all our furniture. I've confidently recommended Speedy's to over 10 of my patients in the past year alone. If you're considering a move, you can't go wrong with Speedy's Moving. We're thoroughly impressed! read more

I had a great experience with Ben and his crew. I booked them a couple weeks in advance and they gave me an appointment. They arrived early and performed the job very efficiently. They wrapped all of our mirrors and other delicate furniture and took the headache and hassle of moving off of our shoulders. They finished the job quickly and price was fair. I would definitely hire them again in the future. read more

I highly recommend Speedy's Moving... Speedy and his crew were not only super professional but super nice to boot! They got the job done within the quoted time and their service was worth every dollar spent. They actually brought me joy to a very sad and stressful time... not just for the moving itself but this move out was vacating my sister's apartment as she had passed away. When I was looking for movers, Speedy was highly recommended to me and now I highly recommend too... Speedy himself has a heart of gold and they gifted me with not only top notch service but with special condolences making this moving day and my life much better! read more

This is now our third massive move with Ben and his crew and they are fantastic! Ben is professional, organized, and when he gives you a start time, they hit the ground running. His estimates are always so accurate. There are no additional charges after the fact. He is extremely trustworthy and also a very nice person which is an added bonus ! My in-laws will be moving in a few months and we don't have to think about what moving company to use because we wouldn't use anybody else! Ben and the guys just moved our giant chicken coop without any trouble at all! Never cease to be impressed with them! read more

Ben and team were fantastic beginning to end. A friend in the moving business recommended Speedy's Moving and Ben was honest and communicative right away. The team came in, worked at lightening speed yet very carefully, were positive and fun to be around, and they even helped me with extra projects like reassembling a bunkbed in the new place. I was so glad I'd spent a little extra than I'd been planning to. They were a great team and did the job completely and quickly. Thank you Speedy!! read more

Speedy's Moving - Speedy's Movers, job complete! - Movers Near Me - Culver City, California

Highly recommend Ben and his crew. On time, efficient, careful with all items, not the tiniest dent left at either place. Our move was from Culver City to Torrance and we're very impressed with how fast it was! A+!! read more

We used Speedy Movers for our large move across the country. Ben and his crew were amazing and came very well prepared to wrap all of the furniture and fragile items. It is always hard to see everything you own pull away in one truckload and they made us feel very comfortable. we had some specialty items that were large and required a bit more attention, Ben created a full proof plan and executed it flawlessly. The entire crew showed up early and worked extremely hard and fast to keep our costs down. Once the truck was delivered to our new home everything was still in place and did not move around in the truck (they packed it high and tight) and nothing was broken or damaged. We are so grateful to have found "Speedy". Truly the best experience after hearing horror stories from other moving companies. "YOU GUYS ROCK" read more

Speedy's was speedy. But also they were courteous, careful, and great communicators. Ben not only set everything up perfectly, he also came by ahead of time and checked out the house we were leaving and moving into so he could determine the best size truck and team to use. After dealing with larger moving companies that are poorly managed it was a breath of fresh air to work with Speedy's. Ben was on site managing the team and all the guys were fantastic movers and real nice people as well. Make no doubts, Speedy's is the best of the best. read more

Speedy's moving company was the best! He showed up on time with 4 guys. They were efficient and took extra special care to wrap breakables and delicate items. We moved from a 2nd story unit to another 2nd story unit, both with no elevator. These guys rocked it! They were laughing and joking the whole time and not complaining about the long trek up the stairs one bit. The owner , Speedy was very professional and made us feel super comfortable about our move. Moving is so stressful but Speedy made our life so much easier! Definitely worth it!! Don't look any further than Speedy's Moving Company for moving services!! read more

Ok let's start from the beginning. THIS COMPANY WAS A ++ and if I could give a higher grade I would. Ben (manager) and his crew (3 guys) were on time and very prompt and ready to go. Funny, I wasn't even all the way ready for them. What I loved is that the guys started working and did everything with a smile! I had steps to my apartment, maybe like 15 and none of them bat an eye when they had to go up and down on them continuously. They wrapped EVERYTHING that need extra protection. They also were very attentive and friendly! While moving my things we had small take about random stuff which was really cool. I felt like I knew them all for years. Ben was beyond friendly and very professional. He kept his guys moving and all my furniture and things in order on the truck AND NOTHING WAS BROKEN afterwards which was great. When we got to my destination, they went hard again, removing furniture I didn't want into the trash and replacing my furniture at my new place and did it promptly. They even put my bed back together. Everything I thought wasn't able, they made it happen. I scheduled the move maybe a week and half before the actual time and Ben kept contact with me almost every day and the day before reached out to me to confirm. His customer service over the phone and through text was great and I chose this company just because of that. He instantly made me feel like he cared and wasn't going to let me down at all. I will choose this company again and again and tell all my friends as well. read more

I moved about 3 weeks ago and couldn't be happier with these movers. From the beginning Ben was very professional and super responsive which put me at ease. The day of the move he showed up with 4 guys and they were the nicest, most efficient and professional movers I've seen. Everything went super smooth, no damages, everything perfect and quick. The management at the new building I moved in to was so impressed with them they mentioned to me several times and even got their cards. I've moved plenty of times and this was my best experience yet. Moving is so stressful but with this team a lot of that is gone. I highly recommend them. read more

Ben and his crew were absolutely fantastic! Super fast, super friendly, nothing broken, nothing scratched and nothing lost. Moving with 3 tiny kids is super stressful but they made the whole process as smooth and seamless as possible. Plus the total cost was less than I expected and there were no surprise charges. I highly recommend Speedy Movers. read more

I am so glad I chose Speedy's Moving Company. I would give 10 stars if I could. I've seen and heard of horror stories where moving companies have caused a lot of damage and were unprofessional--NOT the case here. On April 28th, Speedy and his team arrived early, quickly and carefully wrapped all of my furniture in moving blankets and plastic wrap and transported everything. No matter how heavy, they made it look like cake, even going upstairs. They were fast, courteous and knew exactly what they were doing. Seriously, I was worried but there was no need. I will MOST DEFINITELY be using them again, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone whether you're moving across town or to another state, they got you. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to Speedy and his team. You guys are my heroes. :) :) :) read more

I'm going to give them 5 stars despite that they lost my shelves. Ben has moved me 3 times all told, one of them in a massive panic with no planning, so he gets massive points. Somehow, my shelves didn't make it, but considering it was a bookcase I bought 10 years ago when I was in law school, it's not that big a deal. I just need to get another. The guys were all great, they move you fast and take care of your stuff. They don't bang it around and destroy it. I've had many moving company experiences since I moved out of home in 91 and Speedy's does as good of a job as Delancy street. I will use them again. They moved my whole house in less than 5 hours and I had a ton of furniture plus literally 75 boxes and assorted luggage, bags, random crap, a dog and whatnot. I recommend them whole heartedly, at least what got lost was the crappies piece of furniture I owned. Now, if they could just unpack......... read more

By far the absolute BEST moving company I've ever dealt with. Speedy was able to accomodate all of my needs, and his employees treated our things with care and respect. On top of it, he gave me a better price than anyone else. read more

I had an excellent experience with Speedy's Moving company. They are very professional, personable, and treated all my belongings respectfully as if they were their own. I also appreciate that Ben Gonzales was able to arrange for my move with very little notice. They finished the move in the time that was estimated and were priced very reasonably. read more

Very professional guys. I hired another company and fired them within 30 minutes because they didn't seem to know how to wrap my furniture. Speedys came in and wrapped everything perfectly especially my antiques. I paid it little bit more but it was worth it. They even finished earlier than estimated. Definitely using them again. read more

Speedy's Moving Company is fantastic and extremely trustworthy with valuables. I had a lost package that was left at an event without a shipping label. Speedy's worked with the event venue to locate my contact info with little to go on. I thought this box was gone forever but because of this honest company that goes out of its way for a customer, my package was safely delivered! read more

We hired Speedy's based on their yelp reviews. They are great - just like the other reviewers said. We were so impressed with how quickly and carefully they moved our 3 bedroom house. We were in our new place with furniture in place in about 3 hours. Ben and his team are incredibly professional and very nice. We can't thank them enough for making it such a smooth move. I highly recommend Speedy's. read more

Awesome experience with Shane, Jonathan and Dustin from start to finish. The move went super smooth, the guys did a great job and were very professional and when I had one question at the end of the move Shane went out of his way to help and even made an extra TWO trips to my house to help out on his day off! WOW! Super service! Will defintely choose them again and highly recommend Speedy Move to anyone looking for real movers who do the job right! read more

Speedy's Moving company is simply the best. The first time I used them was eight years ago. The mover's didn't even take a break! They packed me up and loaded up the truck in no time and I had LOTS of stuff! I have since used them for six other moves. My family members and friends only use Speedy's as well. I recommend them with pride to everyone. They are trustworthy, reliable and dependable. They are always on time and they move carefully but swiftly! There is no better moving company out there. I saw this other person's rating (I googled them for their number 310-447-2952) and was thrilled to find out that not only can they MOVE my stuff from Arizona, they can also STORE some of my things at their storage facility here in West Los Angeles! Thank GOD for Speedy's, they charged by the hour but really lived up to their name! Nothing lost or broken, and not even a scratch! read more
