Pulled in here to get a rock chip repair on my windshield. I drive around 50,000km per year so rock chips are pretty common for me. Despite that, this was my first time using Speedy Glass. When I got there I was told to come back in two hours because they were busy. Not too Speedy, but no problem. Two hours later, when I brought the car back I was told they would need it for 30 minutes. I left it with them for 40 minutes and when I returned I was ignored for another 10 minutes. When it finally came time to pay, the total was $72 bucks. I've had 5 similar repairs done in the last year and the prices have been between $25-$40. I've never heard of such a stupid price for a rock chip repair. They happily took my email address and told me I would be asked to take a company survey. They insisted on knowing how they would be rated by me and told me that any score less than 8 counts as a failure for them. I indicated that it would not go that well for them. As his fingers returned to the keyboard, I suspected that my email address was being deleted. No surprise then, that I never did receive the survey. If this is typical of the service that Speedy provides (slow and expensive), I highly recommend avoiding them. There are way too many other companies that are eager to get business and treat their customers fairly and with respect. read more
