If I had known what was going on I might have waited to update, but alas.... My fellow Yelper Maureen was spot on about this place; and even convinced me to give it another try. All I wanted was a fill up and a car wash. I waited too long to choose which wash from the pump so I had to go in to purchase it. Lovely! Everything is bright and nice again, clean, well merchandised. The Subway, Baskin Robbins and Dunkin Dounts are still here too, I was glad to see. The employee who rang up my wash was extremely friendly and helpful. She issued me one of those Speedy reward cards and told me that I have 4 washes to go until I get a free one. Cool! And the car wash is back up to par. Yessssssss! I'm so glad I like this place again. I missed it!

After purchasing fuel I went to use the Men's bathroom. It looked like it wasn't cleaned for a quite long period of time. The trash cans were over flowing, sinks/counter tops were dirty, the floor was dirty. Fortunately I only had to take a "squirt." Consider taking a can of disinfectant spray (Lysol) plus a putty knife with you if you're planning to use the porcelain throne. You'll probably need the putty knife to pry your bottom end off the seat when you've finished your task.............. BTW, there was a mop stuck in the handle of the Women's bathroom and a closed sign on the door. According to my wife the bathroom in the restaurant area was in a similar condition.

They offer a lot more variety now of places to eat if you want a quick bite. It is more open now so you have the opportunity to walk around and stretch your legs. The biggest disappointment is that every location is now part of the Evil Empire that is McDonald's. I have not eaten McDonald's since 1992 but if I was starving at 2:00 and I went to an Oasis I would have to eat McDonald's because everything else closes in the overnight hours. My husband asked for snacks for the road trip. I grabbed a small bag of Chex Mix and was charged $4, but when he charged me $4 for a single Slim Jim ...he crossed the line. The Slim Jim will not be joining us on the road trip. I question if they just make up prices on the fly to see what they can get away with.
