The wait was worth it, workers were super friendly and always ready to help each other. So we ate this little food shop inside and bought a burger and the 3 tacos. server was beyond amazing, told us it'll be 5 minutes of a wait. But hey we love fresh food, so bring the wait on. As we were waiting, one worker was going around cleaning the place. While another was stocking every shelf up. Splendid work to everyone there, food was delicious and drinks where super cold. Glad we stopped by. I will forever recommend this place.

They serve as a small store as well, selling items that grocery stores sale as well as the items of convenience. Fuel station was to the side and not in front. We stopped to use the bathrooms after walking the shops, and they were surprisingly clean. Very much so. Very happy with that.

It also has a small section with everyday staples like milk and cheese. This place is great if you need a pit stop to buy some snacks and drinks for the road. They also have their small selection of hot food cooked and ready to go for anybody that just wants a quick bite. What else is there to say? It's a brand new convenience/gas store that is a great addition to Cloudcroft. That old Allsup's was just not cutting it anymore.

I was thankful to find this fueling station in the middle of nowhere (no disrespect Carrizozo as I'm sure you have some really fine citizens and businesses ... but you really are in the middle of nowhere). I was pleasantly surprised to find the fuel here 30 cents per gallon cheaper than in Las Cruces - Wow! You'll also find 12 pumping stations for autos/trucks, and separate pumps to the north for Semi truck drivers. There's plenty of room for maneuvering in case you're in a motor home or towing a trailer. The bathrooms are clean, and the store is well stocked with all the normal snacks, ice cream, etc.. and automotive needs. The little human interaction I had was upon leaving the store the employees wished me a happy day (1 extra star). If you're traveling south towards Alamogordo (60 miles away) and getting low on fuel, I recommend you stop in, get some fuel, try some of their ice cream, stretch, relax for a few minutes, and be thankful for businesses like this - especially in the middle of nowhere!! :) #ThankfulThursday

However I've been here on multiple occasions and can testify to the fact that they're as cheap as any other place in Ruidoso. It's in a great location being on SR48 (Sudderth Dr.), and just west of SR70 approximately 1/2 mile. One can be confident in a quality fuel when stopping here. As with all fuel stations in New Mexico (that's been my experience), they offer the 3 basic unleaded fuels in 86, 88, and 91 octanes, along with diesel. Credit and debit cards are accepted, and squeegees are available to clean your windshield. It's not cramped like some stations, offering easy entrance and exits for larger vehicles and those with motor homes or trailers. It's covered so there's a lot of shade and some protection from any occasional showers. This is my "go to" station when I'm in Ruidoso. I recommend you check them out.

There is a counter with bar stools inside with locals visiting, drinking coffee and having a snack. First impression when you walk in the door: this place is clean, well stocked with travel food and smells like chicken (but in a good way!) The cashier explained that their fryer grease is filtered so the food tastes better. All I know is, it makes this convenience store/gas station smell like delicious chicken! Nice! Everything else is pretty standard. Snacks, cookies, candy, drinks, restrooms, etc. A good stop along the way.
