Okay - so delicious! First impressions? Easy parking within Thunder Bay Mall (right off Little…read moreCanada Road). Upon entry, I felt transported into Middle Eastern heritage due to the decor. From bamboo seats, to history on the walls, to colorful murals - the interior is decorated perfectly. There is even a small game section with uno, dominos and other board games for patrons to take advantage of. Seating options: lots! The variety is what you'd expect for a business: bar seating faces the parking lot which allows for natural light to seep in, 1 couch area with surrounding chairs, roughly 20 tables, about 6 booths and 1 giant closed off space with a long workstyle table which I'm unclear if you have to rent it or if it's free game. The service was mostly quick with a large menu displayed on the wall or a printed version which was nice to have options. As I prefer to use a hand-held menu, I took one home and repurposed it for a bookmark and eventually used it to revisit menu items. This trip I didn't opt in for any treats, but there is a plethora of options in the front display case including pistachio cake, Oreo cheesecake, spicy chicken curry pie, cake pops, and tiramisu. I was pretty basic on this visit attempting the Mufawaar coffee which is a medium roast coffee with cardamom and cream. The barista asked if I wanted sugar which I agreed. This drink was outstanding!! I would get it again for sure. What I enjoyed most about Qamaria is that I felt as if I was learning about another culture as it promoted me to research Yemen more. In addition, I could taste the fresh spices in my drink which is hard to find at other coffee shops. Lastly, I'm all for promoting small business and ones that are unique to Minnesota. Qamaria is all of it. Thank you!! I look forward to returning with friends on my next visit.

Not a cheap cup to coffee - $6 for the cheapest and there wasn't just a plain option so I got Turkish with cardamom which I liked. Also got the pistachio baklava and loved it - would recommend. Not a good grab and go option

The record selection is amazing with a great mix of new and used records, plus a super fun section of $2 records where you can fill a bag and find some real gems. The coffee is excellent. The breakfast sandwich is house made and prepared fresh for you, and everything we tried was delicious. The caramel brulee latte is truly something special. It has a full cap of caramelized sugar on top and is honestly exquisite. Service is outstanding. Friendly faces, quick service, and such a welcoming, comfortable atmosphere. There are lots of seating options and plenty of natural light, making it a great place to hang out, relax, work a bit, or browse records. Overall just a fun, feel-good spot that combines great coffee, great music, and great people. One of those places you leave already planning to come back.

The staff are all great! Always happy to lend recommendations and talk music. Most of them are in bands themselves. They've got breakfast plates and pastries but I've only ever gotten some coffee. The miso cortado was delicious and really stood out, and they have a great variety of specialty drinks. The service was also extremely kind and welcoming, which I genuinely appreciated. That said, the space didn't quite live up to the hype. The location felt a little unfinished. Minimal decor, unfinished flooring, and no truly cozy seating made it feel less like a place you'd want to settle into for a while. While they encourage people to linger and don't offer Wi-Fi (which I respect), the ambiance doesn't quite support that intention. It felt more like a quick in-and-out stop, even though that doesn't seem to be their goal. The atmosphere was chill, with vinyl records playing in the background, which was a nice touch. I just wish the overall design and seating matched that relaxed, stay-awhile vibe. Great coffee and kind staff, but the space itself didn't fully align with the experience I was hoping for.

They have a lot of super intriguing drinks that I can't wait to get back and try, but I had to have the black coffee for my first stop. They only do pour overs and mine was great. And so were the beans I took home. It's really nice to see a coffee shop that cares about their beans more than syrupy drinks. The shop itself is small but has some nice seating options. One thing to note is that they don't have WiFi so this place isn't really meant for the work from home crowd. I can't wait to get back here

The Wild Bean Coffee shop shares a storefront and bathroom with 350 Degrees Bakery so I'd recommend hitting both up if you are in the area as a 2-for-1 adventure. The Wild Bean serves a small variety of breakfast and lunch items along with standard espresso drinks. Similar to many coffee shops, there are rotating seasonal specials. For my breakfast, I opted for the egg sandwich and added cheese, salsa, avocado and sausage. I picked sourdough as the bread. It was the perfect size and came toasted. My sister ordered a turkey panini and it was bigger than the breakfast sandwich and served with potato chips. Our service was extremely kind and considerate which aided to the interior charm. I adored the decorating, small gift shop towards the back, plants and exterior patio seating for warmer weather. For my drink, I ordered a hot chai tea latte and it was perfect. The storefront offers board games and complimentary water. I look forward to returning! Thank you!
