I have lived 2 blocks form this gas station for 6 years. I know the employees, the managers and have been in there twice a day for 6 years spending my money. Rachel, a skinny short haired manager changed all of that recently. She assaulted me while I was getting my coffee because of an incident that occurred between an new employee Tony and my family. Tony was working and my Fiancé went in with my youngest son to get coffee and smokes. The creamer machine was out of French Vanilla cream like it always is there, and she asked Tony to get some new creamer. He comes out and sees the creamer trickling out and says to her that it is fine, and asks her how much cream do you want, a whole cup? She laughs and says please replace the creamer. He shoves up against her and pushes the button and says, it is fine. Now she is uncomfortable. Then my son being a 12 year old says to her, can I get a milkshake? Tony hears this and jumps in front of the Milk Shake machine and blocks him, and says it is out of order. Then runs in back and makes a sign that says OUT OF ORDER... and puts it on the machine.
She comes home and tells me about this, so I go up there and he is gone! She was so upset and there was nothing I could do that night. Next day, I go up and report it to the Managers and they say they will look into it. Well they gave her some free hot dogs and pops for her trouble which was nice.
Then I see this guy up there a couple of weeks later, after the managers tell us he will not be working there anymore. I go in and she tells me, there he is. I go to the register and ask, are you Tony? He smiles and says, You must be Eddie!! All cocky. I say yes and I don't like what you did to my son or to her... he smirks... I then say, I think it would be a good idea if you quit your job in the next ten minutes. He says... Are you threatening me? I say, no... just take my advise and leave before I see you outside.
The following day is when little miss Rachel "Wish I was a Man" charges into me at the coffee filling station and says... Get the Fuck out of my store.
Well we call corporate and they say they are going to look into it... nothing ever happens.
I tell them that Rachel "Wish I was a Man", tells me I am banned form Speedway... the corporate people tell me that no one is banned and they will investigate...
We get a call from a regional manager... nothing happens!
Speedway simply did nothing about the harassment, nor did they do anything about the assault!
So we take our 60.00 a day elsewhere... Shell across the street is so happy that we are customers now.
Unless you like confrontation, stay away form here... Shell is much friendlier!! read more
