They even carry proprane and do Blue Rhino exchanges! The staff is generally very friendly and get to know their regulars. The owner is on site frequently, and shows pride in his store. One morning, a new cashier overcharged me by 15 cents for some cough drops. It really couldn't have been any smaller of an issue, but two days later when I stopped back in he insisted on giving me my coffee for free, "for my trouble." Despite my objection, he insisted. Can't argue with good customer service. The Wawa across the street closed down about a year ago now, and this little 7-11 makes me not miss them a bit.

The review I am focusing on is (just south of New Brunswick) located directly off of Route 130 & Klockner Rd in the Hamilton township of New Jersey. Keep in mind that I am no stranger to Wawa as I have been to several of their locations in the Pennsylvania area. Since I needed a little pick-me-up, this was the go to spot for a refreshing iced coffee. This location is 24-hours as this makes it convenient to grab a bite to eat for those that work odd hours. In addition to that, they offer ample parking and a full-serve gas station (with regular gas/diesel). Remember, you are in New Jersey where the attendants must pump your gas. Furthermore, this Wawa offers a deli (selling hoagie sandwiches), breakfast sandwiches, and a full-on coffee/espresso area with a ton of customizable options. I will say that many follow a coffee hack at Wawa can save you a ton of money in the long run. You simply grab a plastic cup, fill it with ice, then pay for two shots of espresso. And then the rest is complimentary (which includes milk, creamers, syrups). I was able to get a large iced latte for only $2.50 (which is significantly less than a Starbucks or Dunkin). The options here are quite impressive and if you're a coffee lover like myself, this is a deal that is too hard to pass up. In addition to the coffee, beverages, breakfast/lunch/dinner, and hot/cold food options, this place offers a huge variety of items that you can buy when on the go. This includes snacks, candy, medicine, oil, alcohol (beer/wine), cigarettes, and just about everything you need to without needing to go to a major supermarket. Additionally, this Wawa has two very clean public restrooms. During my visit, the staff/employees were very friendly. All in all, the Hamilton "Wawa" is a decent place that I recommend. They offer the same sandwiches, drinks and snacks found in the others, but at a slightly lower price. The owner, Al, works the counter and offers warm greeting to everyone walking in the door. He can also be found behind the deli counter slicing meat and cheese and throwing something together for a customer. It also does a brisk lottery business. My coffee was fresh and hot. Days went by and no call (this was for a same day pickup order mind you). I finally got a call and voicemail saying it was ready. I excitedly went to the store and a store associate rudely told me it wasn't ready yet. I told her I received a phone call that it was ready to which she responded rudely and loudly in front of all patrons, "it doesn't matter if you got a call! It's not ready!" I was shocked. She then asked to see the voicemail and when she saw it was an automated message she raised her voice and said "don't listen to this, it's automated! You don't come in for that!" I said how am I supposed to know? It said my order was ready. She continued to argue with me and publicly try to embarrass me. I am livid. I have been coming to this CVS my entire life. No one deserves to be treated this way, especially when the problem that occurred was on the store's end. I am a customer and there was zero customer service given to me today. For reference, I went on 2/1/23 at 4:30PM and the woman had short, blonde hair and wore glasses and had a smokers voice. I intend to contact the manager and have this addressed because I am certain this woman must talk to everyone this way. I want to avoid having someone else be treated this way. I have worked in customer service my entire life and even when a customer yelled at me and may have been wrong, I still remained calm and polite because you represent the company you are working for. If this happened once, it'll happen again. And I refuse to continue patronizing a store allowing their employees to treat customers this way. I also still do not have my calendar order that I needed today, February 1st, for work. Update: I contacted corporate about this employee and they told the store manager, who called me to apologize. She was very nice and I appreciate being reached out to.
