When they first moved to this new spot, it felt a bit more clinical and commercial but they've done a great job of personalizing it, and I'm happy they kept a lot of the original furniture. My favorite item on their menu is the Whitefish Toast -- it comes on a fresh, thick, hearty piece of seeded toast, and the whitefish salad is dressed with pickled carrots and micro greens. It's a pretty generous portion at a reasonable price. I also love their seasonal Campfire latte, which is a rich, creamy delight with a touch of sweetness. On this visit, they had run out of the marshmallow topping but they kindly offered a partial refund to make up for it. The only downside is that this place gets packed early; by 8:45am, the only seat available was in the window. It is a private label version of Homesteads Darkness - dark & bold with notes of rich, smokey chocolate. I enjoyed the dark roast, rich chocolate and its bold full body. The cortado and espresso I had were ok. I found them to be a little too bitter, but there was a strong roasted earthiness flavor that I liked. On a return trip I'll have to try their Vietnamese coffee. Food wise I've had the sausage egg and cheese on a bagel and a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel. They are simple and decent sized with simple folded egg patties and cheddar cheese on average bagels. The sausage had a little spicy kick and the bacon was pretty tasty (NOTE: they do offer pork roll as an option). I was given some hot sauce packets to go. You can also get sandwiches on a croissant. The rest of the menu is simple - toasts, sandwiches, salads, some items for the kids. They do sell their private label coffee beans in retail bags and will grind them for you.
