There are eight pumps and at night, they are lit up for safety. The store is a decent size and clean, with lots of food and beverages to choose from. The man working the counter has always been very nice. Welk's is now my go-to place for getting my emissions checked and the guy that does that is very friendly as well. Attached to the store is a working garage with at least two bays, but fortunately, I have not had to use it yet. There is also a car wash available, and in summer, it is always busy. Because of it's proximity to both the freeway and my house, I will be a frequent customer here. Convenience, indeed! 15/2017

(and that's saying a lot considering I drive all around the country) Reasonable gas prices too. I walked in and noticed there were no more chicken sandwhiches, and a young worker (i think her name was Alexis O) immediately stopped what she was doing and catered to my order. Not only was my order cooked to absolute perfection, it was brought to me with care. I definitly will be revisiting.

The pumps were in good working order, and fairly responsive (who wants a slow gas pump when it's cold outside!?). The pump accepted my BP gift card without issue and printed a receipt with the balance at the end of the transaction. I didn't notice any trash or any of those things that give gas stations a bad rap. Should I find myself in the area again, I'd stop here and fill up without hesitation.

This location is a mile from our residents. Today I met the most rude employee I have ever…read moreencountered at any business I shop at. This lady has black hair, she is older and definitely should not be a cashier. Most cashiers ask for your rewards card. She just rang up the bag of ice i set on the counter. I thought that was rude. Her facial expressions where not for someone who deals with the public. I have an amputated thumb less than 2 weeks ago. When she was rude to me I asked her if she could put the 7lb ice in a bag for me. She says yes I guess I can? Then she drops the bag on the counter. I asked her mam you did not need to drop it. She says it is heavy. I show her my thumb which is an open wound. She says to me don't give me an attitude? I said give you an attitude? Mam keep the change I will never stop back. This is the second employee that treated me like dirt. The last one was a 3rd shift employee. I rarely stop at this location. This store is quick bring them in and push them out. I so miss Speedway that used to be on Sunset Dr and Hwy 164 / 59. Stay away from this store if you are a senior. Because it don't matter, get them in get them and get the out is what this location does. Very poor management for the weekend crew or second or third shift. I told he keep the change you must need it. I hope she does not have a dog. If she does, I do know what the poor dog goes through. This lady I never seen there before. Yet this lady to me and my opinion is a very dangerous person. She may of had a bad night. Yet this is the type of person who could bring a gun to work and shoot every body there. Beware of her.

I'm just going to say it: I have a long running, moderately strange obsession with gas stations. I…read moreworked on the road, out of a truck for several years and you learn to appreciate things that folks working in offices take for granted. The things I like about Kwik Trip, in general: -The stores are big, bright and clean. -At any hour of the day, you can get a hot cup of decent coffee. In Wisconsin and with my former profession, this can be a life saver. -CLEAN BATHROOMS: This is the deciding factor for me. I have nearly thrown up at the sight of some bathrooms before, but Kwik Trip is spotless. Things I don't like: -Their hot food. Most of it tastes just fine, but I cannot imagine eating anything less healthy. I know most people coming through aren't thinking about nutrition and are simply looking for a quick bite to tide them over, but it would be nice to have a few more healthful options. This store in particular is brand new, sparkly clean and well staffed. They have a nice car wash on site and it is in a location bereft of other options. There you have it, the first (And probably the only. Ever) gas station testimonial. You might call it a magnum opus, an ode to the petroleum industry. Probably not though. That would be dumb.

As far as Kwik Trips go, this one is pretty mediocre. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful,…read morebut the store itself leaves something to be desired. (However, I would still recommend this Kwik Trip over any other type of gas station like BP, Speedway, etc.) The bathrooms are pretty decent. They're not gross by any means, just not tidy. Each time I've stopped here, there are a few scraps of toilet paper on the ground and there is a lot of water splashed around by the sinks. My other issue with the store is the layout. The aisles are packed close together, so it's hard to maneuver if there are multiple people in an aisle. If you use a wheelchair or have a stroller, it's going to be extremely difficult to browse. Because the store itself is so cramped, the checkout lines can extend back into the aisles when this location is busy. As far as food goes, the donuts are incredible! The classic Glazers are my favorite, but their old fashioned donuts, chocolate cake donuts, and blueberry donuts are also delicious. The prices are very reasonable as well, and sometimes when you pump gas a coupon will print out to save some money inside on things like hot food, donuts, and pizzas. If you're going to stop inside at this Kwik Trip, I'd recommend knowing what you want to buy ahead of time. Browsing is pretty inconvenient, so I'd save yourself the trouble. The gas prices here are good. It's normally a few cents cheaper here per gallon than other gas stations. The pumps themselves are easy to use, and there are enough of them that there usually isn't any issue finding a spot to fill up.
