Entered the store as a visitor to Huntington. Had a backpack from hiking all day, no car. Saw their…read more"No Backpack" policy posted on the front door. I entered the busy store but saw no security person, so I went to the cashier and asked where I could safely store my backpack in order to enter the store. I suggested perhaps behind the counter. I was told, "We are not allowed to do that. You can put it there." When I asked, where is "there," the cashier pointed to the floor in front of the counter in a high-traffic retail area visible to everyone at checkout. Assuming their no backpack policy is due to shoplifting, I don't consider it a viable or respectful suggestion to leave my personal belongings in the middle of the floor for fifteen minutes in order to shop inside Sheetz. Since then I have filled out their Contact Us form twice, sent them emails, and messaged them on Facebook. After two months someone finally responded---a Claims and Liability Manager. Look it up: a Claims and Liability Manager's job is not related to customer service or relations. Their job is simply to prevent any liability or customer escalation. I can only conclude Sheetz has changed greatly and I won't be a customer at any of their stores anymore thanks to such poor service.

I was as trying to take a picture of a cool old sign inside the store when she yelled at me " it's rude to take pictures in the store." She yelled at me from across the store, review the footage. I just left after that because I wasn't going to fight with an old miserable woman. It's also not illegal to take photos in PUBLIC, with no person or employee in the photo!

In the meantime, though, I got one of the most delicious cinnamon rolls I've ever had. Very cinnamonny, soft but also chewy, and it was just a delight. I got a side of bacon with it. "side" means like 8 pieces. Lol. Picked up one of their banana puddings, too, because I couldn't resist. And all of it together was around $8. What a deal! They've got other food and the donut case was full of incredible looking donuts, and I'm ready to get back there soon! The only negative thing I would say is that while the toilet and the sink were clean, the rest of the bathroom....needed a paint job or something. Regardless, I was happy I stopped by and definitely will again.
