This particular coffee shop caught my attention because their website indicated, "Every purchase creates job opportunities for local teens and supports schools, nonprofits, and community organizations." I stopped by on a Saturday at 8 am. There were several patrons at the small tables and several people came in after me. It looks like they are popular among locals. I had the iced latte with house-made lavender syrup. I told the waitstaff that I prefer less sweet and she asked if they should lessen the amount of lavender syrup. I declined but I probably should've taken her suggestion because the drink was a teeny bit too sweet for me. But otherwise, the coffee was strong and it kept me running for hours!

They are quick and efficient and always make each customer feel special. Plus, if I want a drink from a previous month, they readily accommodate, even if it isn't on the listed menu for the current month! I visited yesterday (a Sunday morning), and the line became quite long as it got closer to 10:30 AM. I ordered a medium iced "Offense" from their September specials menu. It features caramel and butterscotch flavors. It was okay, not very memorable. The coffee aroma and flavors were faint, which seems consistent with what someone else had mentioned. Although the coffee wasn't as exciting or flavorful as I had hoped, the comfortable interior is a big reason I would consider coming back. I briefly used their wifi and also checked out the restroom. The women's restroom was clean and even had a baby changing station. Overall, I enjoyed the atmosphere more than the coffee itself. I hope they can make their coffee and flavorings a little more intense in the future, because the cozy environment is definitely a place where I'd like to spend more time.

There were a pretty decent variety of donuts and danishes ready to eat, as well as coffees and other drinks on tap. We would've liked a bit more options in the way of seating, because while the vibes were pretty cool and unique, there wasn't a ton of room to sit down and relax.
