I showed him a post I saw online about it and his response was, "Let's go right now." We stocked up on snacks and can't wait to go back soon. The shop itself is small and packed, but the owner is nice, they're open late, and it's nice to have a convenience store in that area. I think they're going to rotate their offerings, so I can't guarantee that they'll always have the British snacks specifically, but they do have an international section, so it'll be fun to pop in and see what's being offered.

We found free parking just outside the shop. Finding parking was a miracle.

During the three-hour special, surprisingly anyone was allowed to get in on the deal. As I was pumping, a staff gave me a discount card for 20 cents off any and all gasoline during this month of September. It was wonderful! I saved over $4. Also during September, they have deals for in-store purchases. I bought a $1.23 beef hot dog. I have been wanting a hot dog so it hit the spot. I wish they have a divider over the rollers so you know exactly what you are getting without asking. Unlike the other Circle Ks in the Indy suburb area, their inside has a lot of open space. Ricker's actually has decent burritos, believe it or not. You can order chicken, steak, ground beef…read moreor fajita veggies (or bean, rice and cheese, like me) and customize it how you like. You order via a touch screen, so you never have to talk to anyone in order to get your food. This is an amazing place for burrito-loving introverts. My latest burrito was not too great (almost no beans, but too much rice), but in general the burritos are always spot-on. You can add chips and salsa to your order, if you wish. Because this is a gas station, Ricker's also has other miscellaneous things, like beer, chips, jerky, donuts, ice cream, etc. This particular Ricker's is really nice and orderly, and the people who work here are friendly, too.

This gas station is the worst. The dreaded "See Clerk" is displayed on the pumps much too often…read more See clerk because receipts won't print or because the card reader is not working. On this visit I was on my way to work and when I tried to prepay with my corporate credit card it said "See Clerk." So I pulled up to another pump, and received the same message. When I went inside to "see clerk" there was a long line and only one clerk available. No one was happy to have to wait in line to pay for gas. When I finally made my way to the front of the line the clerk said, "Oh yeah, all the card readers are down on all the pumps." Casually, like it was no big deal.

Cons -The past two times I've been here, there have been at least two pumps out of order. -The touch screens malfunction, too - when you swipe your card and it asks "debit or credit" there is no button to press... -Because of it's prime location in Carmel, it is heavily trafficked and I often have to wait in line for gas. I'll give it another chance for convenience and money savings, but I haven't been pleased with my encounters so far.
