There are a few stores together, including some sort of fast food eatery that was closed. Anyway, I walked in to check the store out. There was an elaborate set of coffee machines. I liked all the coffee beans on top. It reminded me of the fancy machines we have at my workplace. Sadly, I don't drink coffee, so I had to bypass testing these machines out. I had a debate as to whether I should get three 500 mL bottles of Diet Coke, or two 2 L bottles of the same beverage. There were some amazing deals happening. I caved and went with the latter. I will be running on Diet Coke all week! I also liked the breakfast sandwich deals going on. I had the breakfast croissant last time and it was yummy. I decided to give the sausage and egg breakfast sandwich a try, along with a cheeseburger. The person cashing me out was so nice. He double-bagged my pop and sandwiches, and made sure that everything was safe and secure. I appreciated it. He also knew all the payment prompts off by heart, which was helpful. I paid using a credit card and the transaction was fine. I didn't need any gas for my car. There were plenty of available pumps. I didn't have any problems pulling in and out of this gas station. What's cool is that I get an alert saying that it's running low. While in the Twin Cities, that alert popped up. My hybrid smartwatch was at 22% battery life. I had two options. I could revisit the Fossil store at the Eagan outlet mall and get it replaced there. The other option would be to find a place that sells a replacement battery. The latter was the better option. Get me back into that Fossil store and I'd probably get another smartwatch. I did a search and found this Walgreens three minutes away from the hotel by car. The next day, I went there after having breakfast. This Walgreens has a lot of parking. I backed my rental car into a spot and walked in. Even though I had never been to this store, the layout is typical for Walgreens. I headed over to the battery section to check it out. I wish that my local Shoppers Drug Mart and Rexall had a decent battery section like this Walgreens. The last time I needed the same type of battery, they both let me down. I ended up finding it at Staples. I found the battery size that I needed immediately. I was elated! I also appreciated a battery sizer. You can bring your battery in and match it up to figure out the exact type. After finding what I needed, I did a lot of browsing. I got stuck in the Christmas sales aisle. I swear that I wanted to buy everything. The Nerds guys looked cute in their Santa hats. I contemplated getting flashing LED earrings to annoy folks around me. The small Squishmallows were adorable. I had to pass on everything, as I didn't have all that much space left in my luggage! However, I did get a small, cute M&M's Christmas tree LED gadget. It plays a Christmas tune and lights up. It was $2 and comes with milk chocolate M&M's The cashier was great. I entered my phone number to take advantage of collecting rewards towards a cash discount (I'm so close!). It was easy! I paid using a credit card. I got my watch battery and thanked him. I got into the car and actually did the watch battery replacement there. I just needed a quarter and some patience. Thank goodness the packaging wasn't horrible to take the battery out. I was thrilled that I didn't have to head back to my hotel room to get my small pair of scissors. My hybrid smartwatch was back in business. Yay! This Walgreens is now my favourite one in the Twin Cities. I'm continuing my drug store tour with every visit. (29)

With both the decent gas consumption that this vehicle had and my not breaking the sound barrier with my lead foot, I needed to fuel this vehicle on my last full day before I headed home. To put it into perspective, I arrived on a Saturday. I did my road trip on Sunday. I had to fuel my vehicle on Tuesday afternoon. After having attended the Jason Show, I did a search and found this Speedway. It was fairly close, so I decided to check it out. It had a few folks pumping gas when I had arrived. I had no problem finding an available gas pump. I have rewards with Speedway. I pressed the Alt ID button and entered my phone number associated with my account. I then inserted my credit card to pay for gas and then pumped away. I like that I could fuel my vehicle hands-free. It allowed me to clean the windshield. The squeegee was in pristine condition. There was lots of windshield fluid. It was nice to have a clean, streak-free windshield again! The area around this gas pump was clean. I used some paper towel to dry off my hands. I then used hand sanitizer in my car, just to be safe. This gas station has a convenience store. I didn't need to use it. It's a decent gas station. I'd return when I'm in the area again. (408)
