I've got an unhealthy love for gas station food....there I said it! And not trash at a gas station,…read morebut rather the sort of food where you try it and then say, " that was way better than I thought it would be!"- we can now add another spot to that list! We were traveling from the West Coast and any time we're in a different part of the country, we try and check out local spots. We had heard that they make good sandwiches here, so we had to check it out. They were correct! Amongst the family, we shared a chicken hoagie and chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and came out quick. Ordering was easy as there were options to do it on a kiosk or in person. They also had good coffee and good shakes. The actual store was nice with plenty of other drinks and gas station accoutrements to choose from. All in all, this may have been one of the top couple gas stations that we've ever been to! Well, played Wawa!

Mid 80's and the family is going to Action Park. There's a spot in ever journey that you've…read moretraveled before that you know is approaching at some point soon, the anticipation builds - but what is this place? It's many different things to many different people and the symbolism is also different. These trips, I anxiously awaited seeing the WAWA sign in Jersey. I thought it was the Canadian Goose looking logos name, but it wasn't. But inside there were treats of pies and ice cream and no gasoline, so I was surprised to see the pizza and the pumps wayyy down here. Because you know what they say in Florida, other than "go on vacation and leave on probation" is "the further north you go, the more southern it gets" and the opposite is also true here. My buddy wanted to try their pizza, I was lukewarm at best to his proposal but we did it anyway. I have a neighbor that speaks about WAWA, as in everything about it, (the food especially) with such reverence, I do believe it's his favorite restaurant and I'm not sure if I should tell him that it's a convenience store and gas station. He's a peculiar fellow so all of what he says makes complete sense to me because I guess we're all a little crazy around here and be beyond here, the whole worlds gone a bit crazy I'd say He loves his $2.79 a pack of "Miami grown and local" 305 cigarettes and at over two packs a day, mind you that's not included his 305 purple or gold cigar habit and all of the smoke that he's sucked up has turned him a shade of ashen grey, there's a big missing teeth issue too. 16" veggie, marinara, mozzarella cheese fill, red onions, green peppers and mushrooms. The crust was that bouncy south of the Mason Dixon Line weird no crumbs kind, nobody gets it right because nobody needs to because nobody knows better and the few that do just go to the beat of this drum and I guess I do it.

I know what your gonna say when you start reading this review "there goes Glenn talking about the…read moreend of the world again" and normally I'd respond in kind with a "no, just talking about what could happen". Now fellow readers, I think that's what I'm saying. But first, does anyone believe that there are aliens on the moon watching us? It's the only moon that is so close anywhere in the galaxy realms, it's the only one to perform an eclipse. Apparently a Chinese lunar rover discovered a six mile high building with another shorter and flatter building next to it. It's though to be a storage facility for angered souls that feed the aliens, it's a hypothesis I don't have much interest in but I think about the moon quite often, I play love music under sister Moon, music under the beautiful moonlight with the dogs but they don't howl at it but I bark at the moon. I guess they don't like it was much as I do, the day of the big grey line wolf (yours truly ) isn't over but the Hoti Indians say that it is. NASA says there's natural resources up there. Along with iron and water they say there's fuel too but won't be specific and I hope they would because seven bucks a gallon for Regular is just around the corner. (California , I love you all but your gonna get the screw tightening the hardest which I know comes as no surprise) We've built those long straws to slurp into the Gulf of Mexico and the North Sea and we might need a really long one to slurp the moon soon. When I'm at Raceway, I'm at ease with all of these fossil fuels matters because the gas is cheap and the beer is cold and you can buy pizza too. The lines are never too long as the attendants are quick waisted and scan quickly and efficiently.

This place is disgusting and the General Manager, Jose, is unfit for his position. The parking lot…read moreis a mess and appears to have never been maintenanced. There are potholes, uneven pavement, and huge chunks of asphalt all over the lot and between the pumps. Yesterday, I blew out my tire on a pothole that was filled with water. It almost took the entire wheel off the car. I went inside and water was pouring out from multiple tiles in the ceiling and the insulation was protruding down with it. The floor behind the register was puddled with water, and there was a box fan and exposed electrical wire sitting in it - with an employee (Jacob) standing in it. The manager (Arsam) was nice and took photos and wrote an incident report, until he got on the phone with the GM, Jose, who asked to speak with me. Jose was shockingly rude, and refused to assist in any way. I asked for insurance information and said I would handle the claim myself. He still refused to provide information and stated that he was refusing to report the problem (as required by all general liability policies). The staff then watched from the windows as other customers spent hours in the rain trying to assist me, until we determined the car had to be towed. The conditions are unsafe for preparing food. It's absolutely disgusting. And apparently, it's not even safe to drive through, let alone get gas. This place needs a major renovation, or a shut-down. And new management.

I love all the nick and moes locations, but this one is my absolute favorite (70 and Lorraine road)…read morethe staff is always incredible, the food is great, store is always clean and the trash by the pumps is always taken care of. The workers here love their jobs and are always going above and beyond! The owners/management are all really good people and have their hearts in the right place. I'd choose this place as my pit stop before any wawa or other commercial gas station! So grateful to have a non-sketchy gas station that i love! y'all are the best!

If you like paying above average prices for gas, then this is the place for you!…read more Brief Summary: Gas stations are typically a dime a dozen. Sadly though, this is the only one within this area, and boy oh boy do you pay for that convenience! If you're DESPERATE for gas, then it's a fine solution, but if not, save your money, and go literally anywhere else! Would I Recommend This Business? Only in an emergency. Service/Staff: This gas station is a PRIME example of owners taking advance of people when they're the only one around. This gas station is CONSISTENTLY at least 10 cents more per gallon than any other gas station around. This is what happens when there is no competition. The fuel price is always sky high and this station NEVER has a discount on Upside or on Gas Buddy. The only time I ever go here is if I've been running on E for a week and I need a drop of fuel to get me to the next gas station. This gas station does also have a Subway in it with a drive through. Normally, this would be a major plus in my book BUT, this time, it isn't. This is because this Subway does not accept ANY Subway coupons or promos AT ALL! How can a restaurant not accept its own coupons?!?! This is extremely annoying, and goes right along with the whole expensive vibe of the gas station. The gas station and pumps themselves are pretty clean, which is good, and there is a drive through car wash, but the bottom line is, if you go here, be prepared to pay extra EVERY TIME! Location: The location is nice because it is on the east side of the interstate. It's currently the only gas station on the East side. There will be a 7-Eleven opening up just down the room shortly, but until then, this is all there is. Final Thoughts: This gas station is fairly nice and it's nice that it has a food options aside from the standard junk you get at a convenience store, but the consistently expensive prices for everything make this gas station one that I will avoid at any cost. Final Scores: Service/Staff - 1/10 Location - 5/5 Total - 6/15 = 2 Stars Stay fresh Mother Fooders! :p
