The staff there are nice and greet you as they walk by. I do wish that as they walked by they would wipe down the pump handles though. I feel that that should have been happening LONG before COVID. I am not a germaphobe, but really, lots of grimey hands all over those pumps... so please, consider wiping those babies down.

Their hours are pretty great for a small town, and the store is small but has all of the basics. It's been wonderful being able to just run down the street at a moment's notice for an ingedient or two, or paper towels, or anything- I've never had that sort of convenience anywhere I've lived before! You can always get a parking spot right next to the door, they don't move everything around every 6 months like the big box stores, and it's the same few cashiers all the time. I always bring my pop bottles here to return too, since there's never anyone else at the machines. I took off a star because their prices are quite a bit higher than the big box stores, and you definitely do need to check the expiration dates before buying anything, but the convenience absolutely makes up for it and I'm almost tempted to give them the full five stars for the small town experience that is Polly's.

They have the best Michigan craft beer selection I've seen anywhere (1000 beers and a HUGE walk-in beer cave!); 500 affordable wines under $50; a humidor; fresh housemade bread, deli sandwiches, pot pies, wings, pizza, and subs; and a careful selection of just about everything else (lots of local Michigan brands). The market is a well-known secret among local Toyota employees, many of whom are lunchtime regulars (and tipped me off to it). Now you know!

Everyone that works here is helpful & nice. The real reason for my leaving a review was for their Tuesday Taco specials I just had. 1st off when I said I wanted tacos he gave me a sample of some of the best carnitas I've ever tasted! Honestly it was top 3 carnitas tacos of my life, they use white corn tortillas which isn't my favorite but it was oiled, warmed perfectly & delicious! The onions & cilantro were perfectly fresh & the verde salsa it was served with was great with a nice lime, fresh green chilis & cilantro flavor. I also got an asada taco that was fantastic but not quite as amazing as the carnitas. Not to take anything away from the asada because it was marinated, seared & chopped well with no gristle or pieces of fat at all & absolutely delicious flavor. I wouldn't ever expect a party store to have tacos this good! I'll be back next Tuesday FOR SURE!!!
