They started out as a Marathon…read moreStation at the corner of Holmes Road and Michigan Ave. However, they recently switched over to Exxon Mobil, which IMHO is a better grade of gasoline. As part of the changeover, the entire station and fueling areas received a complete facelift. I have been a customer here for the past 20 years, and have never had any problems. However, recently panhandlers have been approaching customers while fueling their vehicles and begging for money. This seems to be a problem along East Michigan Avenue in Ypsilanti Township that needs to be dealt with. Thankfully, this location uses modern security cameras. If you need some chips, lottery tickets, or soft drinks, Beydoun's has that too. The workers at this service station are very friendly. Even the new gas pumps are fully modern, and you watch TV while you fill up.

A few other stations in Ypsilanti or some of the townships in the area come close or occasionally come in a cent or two cheaper, but the Oklahoma station is generally your best bet. There's nothing special about the attached convenience store- they sell the usual things like gum and soda pop. The general neighborhood is a bit rough around the edges, too. But if you live on the east side of Ypsilanti, it's generally worth it to get your gas here.

I really hope Meijer one includes getting Mperk points on gas purchases. All other store owned gas stations have a point system. I swear I always do Better gas mileage when using Meijer gas vs the other gas station- speedway which is across the street. Atmosphere is airy and clean. Things are organized well. They have the big plastic bottles of Snapple diet peach tea (I swear to God it is like eating a peach, BEST diet tea EVER). Better yet they are often 2 for 3 and one of these babies can see me through a work day. You can get cheapie Meijer brand waters too for like 80¢. Yay! They have awesome assortments of snack packs of nuts. Almonds, peanuts, mixed, all flavors from honey BBQ to wasabi. Score. Leg cramps? They stock freaking bananas so I do not have to go to a real store on my rush to work. Sales on 5hr energies, grab bags of chips. I mean c'mon what more do you want in a convenience store?
