Large store, tons of variety! I like to stop in from time to time to see if I can find something new to me and they never disappoint!

I've been here a bunch of times and it's always fun. There are a ton of different vendors who have all kinds of things for sale. They don't have too many discounts but some stuff is still fairly affordable. The booths are pretty decently spread out so it's easy to get around in. The booths are organized and not messy at all which is nice. I've gotten some pretty good stuff here that I haven't seen anywhere else. They have a small single-person bathroom in the back. There's a decent amount of parking but it can be hard to find a spot on a busy weekend day. Definitely stop in here if you're looking for a fun way to spend the day! read more

This antique mall is huge with a large variety of items. You could spend hours there! I loved looking at all the Pyrex they had. Plenty of beautiful art pieces and furniture as well. Racist employees. I found a shirt in the store and walked to the front cashier to see if there were fitting rooms available. She directed me to the bathroom to try on the shirt. As I waited for the bathroom to open, another big lady employee approached me and accused me of attempting to steal and of lying about being told I could try the shirt on. She had an angry attitude and walked me up front to ask the other employee if i was lying and once she found out i was telling the truth she took the shirt to "hold" it. I left disappointed by the racially charged treatment and accusatory attitude I was given. 0/10 experience. read more

We dropped in to look for Fiesta Brand colorful bowls. To our surprise we found one vendor that had lots of everything Fiesta. We decided to hold off and prob go back. We wanted 6 cereal bowls and the total would be high. But we may get them anyway. They have a lot of vintage antiques here. We walked the whole store to get a idea what they had. Nice clean shop. THERE WAS A VARIETY OF ITEMS. I was super excited to come here for the first time. Huge store with so many vintage items to see. Obviously each seller has different prices and some were reasonable while others were more pricey. There were many amazing things. We left with plenty of items that were very unique. When my boyfriend and I were checking out a lady around 18 grabbed our stuff. No conversation starter so a bit awkward but whatever. She rings up the total price and asks for a bag with attitude. My boyfriend says yes because we bought many heavy picture frames along with some comics. She put together a stack of some frames and the comics together and SLAMS the stack on the counter to even it out. We were both startled along with the people behind us. She asked if we would like our receipt and we both responded yes. She rudely told us you have to click a button on the card reader but had it facing towards her and turned it over with a sigh of annoyance. I checked our stuff after we paid to make sure anything wasn't damaged. Seriously?! My boyfriend and I are around the same age and I don't think it's that difficult to be nice to people, especially customers that have no bad intentions and just want to pay for our items. OMG this place has soooooo much stuff. I took lots of pictures & posted on their page. I came here looking for Pyrex dishes & found a few and ended up buying a couple. I had to limit on how many & how much stuff I bought since I live in Vegas & I have to fly back with my Pyrex dishes & other findings. It's an easy place to find. They are enforcing face masks & 6ft social distancing which is very easy to do in here as there are so many stations to look @. I found a couple of things missing a price & one was a cat mirror that I liked & I inquired about a price & one of the staff members called the owner and it only ended up being $5.00. I didn't need it & was trying to figure out where I would put it once I got home but it was so darn cute I couldn't say no & I LOVE cats. They have a bathroom out in the back that was clean. It had an old airplane sink panel outside the door that had me thinking this was the sink I had to wash my hands in & it wasn't.....lol I must say the check out process was very slow. I can't give them 5 stars for that. There were 3 people behind the counter. Two were helping customers & one I heard say to her co-worker "I'm really not here." It seems to be a process when ringing up your items as each of them have a sticker on them that I'm guessing has the owners ID # & price. Seems they have to hand punch those things into the cash register & maybe even the price so that was taking some time. Seems they should find a better way to ring up items & keep track of them so they know how much & what owners they owe money to. It was nice of Gloria to wrap my dishes for me while another lady rang my stuff up so that did save some time. I bought a pyrex dish that had a $10.99 price tag on it & also a red dot that said "As is $2.99" I forgot to make sure it was rung up correctly & when my friend & I left I checked my receipt & realized they didn't ring me up for the lower price. I called once I got back to my friend's house & spoke to Gloria who offered for me to come back to the store to get the difference refunded. I explained to her that I was flying back home today & couldn't so she was nice enough to take my CC# over the phone & take care of it that way. She was very nice about and apologized. Make sure you check your items before buying them & know that you want them. There is a NO RETURN policy so they can't take things back. Happy shopping!!! read more

I've been selling here for 2 years now and it's an awesome store with great prices and more than 100 booths. My booths are both #1977 and I specialize in mid century lamps, furniture and art. But I also have purses, JFK memorabilia, old cameras and phones, tons of glassware and MCM trays. The great thing about Speedway Antique Mall are it's hours - open till 6 pm M-Sat and till 5 on Sundays. Only closed two days a year, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving. Stop by! read more

My husband and I stopped at this Antique Mall on Thursday, April 21, about 11:00 a.m. When we walked in there were two youngish, dark haired women chatting to each other behind the front desk. My husband greeted them, and they ignored him. Then one of them looked at me and screeched "Backpack! You have to leave your backpack here." I was carrying a backpack purse. She did not say it politely; she screeched it. At first I was going to leave my purse in the car and shop at the mall, but then decided that the rudeness was at a level offending my personal boundaries. We did not stay and shop, but went to another store and spent money. I understand that there are many vendors in this mall. I think many of them would be offended if they were treated the way that we were treated. It takes so little effort to be polite to customers. People who work the front desk exhibit the first impression a person a person has of a business, and as in this case, determine whether or not a customer will stay and spend. read more

I have been a vendor here at Speedway for a year now and have experienced nothing but kindness & generosity from all the cashiers and the owner - Laurie. in twelve months my boothmate & I have moved from a 4' x 6' space at the front of the store, 6 months later expanded to 2 - 4 x 6' spaces and counter space, 9 months later we consolidated to a 9' x 12' space which has been an fabulous experience. The cashiers have assisted us in so many ways since I am disabled and unable to climb a ladder they have hung pix on our gallery wall, fixed our access to electricity, help display table lamps, helped hang chandeliers. They have gone beyond the call of duty with a smile. The owner has a heart of gold and so easily assessable. The other vendors have been remarkable in sharing knowledge, hardware and stimulating conversation. we look forward to many more joy filled years as vendors here. I've read the reviews of this place after stopping here. This space is large and has just about anything you remember from way back when, childhood memories and then some. My guy and I were looking for a few pieces to fill in our new place and found what we were looking for. It's well organized , well lit and spacious. Quite an assortment of customers and knickknacks. I can say that both my other half and I were not bothered unnecessarily. We asked questions about delivery and the employees were friendly and worked with us. read more

Worst antique mall to sell at. Lost our keys to our furniture, told us our clothes had to be vintage or they were going to box them up, which they were vintage they were 90's and before. Most other booths had clothes from recent years and clothes with screen printed tags. Owner didn't even bother looking at us or talked to us when we moved out. read more

I've been antique shopping regularly for almost 10 years now throughout Arizona and more specifically in the Phoenix and Tucson areas, so I have a pretty good grip on the market and where the good places are now. One of Speedway's vendors Desert Vinyl, is way overpriced given the general condition of their records. They're advertised as ultrasonically cleaned. Ultrasonically scratched is more like it. You will find the same trend of overpricing on many more items and vendors throughout the store. Most of the antiques they have are not even interesting and a lot are not even antiques. Don't get stuck in line around a half hour before they close either. They will yell at their customers and rush them out the door. You could say Speedway Antique Mall is more like a thrift shop/storage facility for junk that nobody wants. The best thing I found there today was a VHS tape for Return of the Living Dead priced at $95. No thanks, I'll find something cheaper on eBay. Your time would be better spent at 22nd Street Antique Mall or Midtown Mercantile. The staff at both locations are friendly, helpful and most important of all, vendors are fairly priced and have better stock. read more

You can spend hours in here, they have a lot of stuff some are hair or miss but if you're patient you may find some cool items. Somethings are a bit over priced but that all depends on the vender. Cool mall bigger than what I thought. read more

The only place I have to compare to this is the 22nd street antique mall which is much larger. Speedway seemed cleaner and I found some merchandise and pricing was far. The folks at eh 22nd street are so pleasant and helpful, not sure I can the same thing about the employees here. A small smile goes a long way! read more

Love this place! I enjoy walking around on days off to see what beautiful things I can find. I've found a tv stand and table for great prices. My son has also found some Frank Sinatra memorabilia. They have furniture, art, jewelry, records, tools, and much more. The staff is great. They're always friendly, upbeat, and accommodating. I'll keep going in as I'm furnishing my new home. While this place doesn't look like much from the outside, once you step inside you think: look at this stuff isn't it neat? There's a lot. What got my heart racing were the mcm school/office furniture, tins and tin signs, embroidered textiles, a pair of leather directors chairs, vintage books. But there's something for everyone. Each booth is laid out well, showcasing all the treasures untold. There were a lot of repurposed or modified wares, too. Your inner cowgirl will want to check out the reworked denim and your time traveler self will want to check out the steampunk lamps. There were amazing shadow boxes in the right hallway near my favorite - original signage. Wandering through here will transport you to a different world. read more

There are some interesting items to be found here but the staff is neither friendly nor accommodating. Very problematic if you need to use the restroom. They have a key up front (which wasn't there) and the restrooms are in the far back corner. Never could access it so I left before seeing much. Today was my birthday and I had birthday money to spend!!!! Don't believe I will return as there are much nicer antique malls in Tucson that do believe in customer care. read more

Listen, this place has WONDERFUL THINGS, tons of aisles-- I could see myself getting lost in. I have been wanting to come here for ever and we finally stopped in! I was so excited I would stay for hours just admiring BUT unfortunately we walked in 20 mins until close (they close at 6) but I could have swore they stayed open later. Anyways as soon as we walked in we received the "WE CLOSE AT 6. Enough for one aisle" yell...yes, YELL. I smiled politely and said "oh that's fine we will be done before then"...after walking around for a bit...hearing the old woman continue to say "we are closing. Bring your purchases to the front". Ok we get it...so I told the wife let's go...we strolled to the front, looking at the beautiful cased jewelry--I saw my birthstone I wanted so bad...then decided well let's just go since Grandma wants to keep yelling to everyone that it was time to go... ok here is where I get LIVID...you just told everyone it was time to go, we make our way to the front door--SHE STARES AT ME as if I just put a Buddha statue up my shirt and keeps staring at me as I try to get out the door..WHICH SHE LOCKED & she is guarding the exit like a goalie. Then she wanted to play dumb-"oh I thought you were going over there". Where GRANDMA?!..where the hell am I going to go if YOU ARE CLOSING! I said "what the hell are you doing? You see me trying to leave out why would you death stare me as I'm trying to get out this store?!" My wife and I just look at each other like wtf is going on here...? Wife said she was staring us down like we took something! That hits the nail right on the head...she prolly did think that ..2 interracial lesbians,....walked into an ANTIQUE 20 mins to close--I'm going to death stare them because they stole something. Go check ya cameras Grandma. FOH. As much as I want to go back I do not think I will--I do not want to be treated in this manner ever Again because I will be quick to give Grandma a huge piece of my mind...but on second thought maybe I will go back and see if her attitude and demeanor has changed or if I need to change it for her. ***Potential buyers beware***...she might not like you unless you're straight and white. read more

I'm super bummed. I've been shopping here since our move to Tucson. Have spent thousands of dollars at this place. However, when I hear employees talking trash about customers, I draw the line. Here's a tip, if you're going to congregate together to talk about 'stupid customers' do it somewhere other than the front counter. Maybe not where others can hear you.
