I went inside to use the restroom and I was happy to see that it was pretty clean. The whole place was clean and bright and I had a great time browsing the food. I saw a bunch of items I'd never even seen before and there were tons of candies, salty snacks, and convenience items. They also sell alcohol at this gas station. There's a Subway restaurant inside which was clean as well. The location itself is convenient to the highway and a quick stop. I wanted to leave this review because I've been on many road trips and stopped at lots of gas stations and this was by far one of the nicer ones I've seen in this area. Definitely appreciated!

Started filling second motorcycle and no gas came out. Went inside and was told their computers were down. Told them I had just filled 1 motorcycle and did not end the transaction and then was told they were out of gas. Truck to fill them up had not arrived. If they were almost out of gas they should have shut pumps off. Hopefully, not knowing how well their filters are, I did not get a bunch of crud in my gas tank. I don't think it is my job to go in the station to make sure they have gas before I start to fill.

I rolled in late and had to roll out early, so I didn't get to try the restaurant this time, but I did manage to grab one of their donuts -- and let's just say it didn't taste like a week-old hockey puck like at most stops. Soft, fresh, and actually worth the carbs. Parking was solid -- room for about 25 trucks and still had space available most of the night. Showers and amenities are what you'd expect for a smaller stop, but you can tell they care about keeping things decent. Overall, Morning Star feels like a reminder that "small" doesn't have to mean "run down." Four stars easy -- and I'll definitely be back to see if the food lives up to the donuts.

This store frequently overcharges people and yells at them for pointing it out…read more I went to the cooler and selected a Gatorade that was marked two for five dollars. I went to the register and the owner told me that it would be 299. I explained to him that they were marked two for five dollars and he instantly started getting angry and started yelling at me. I asked him why he was yelling at me at which time he proceeded to lay on the ground behind the counter and asked if I preferred if he talked to me from down there. I began to walk out and he took the Gatorade that I now refused to buy back to the cooler yelling the entire time. I've heard very similar stories from others, who have shopped there in the past, but never experienced it myself until now. If you shop there, make sure you check the prices. If you notice they are overcharging you, be prepared to be yelled at. Will never shop at this store again.
