I visited this car wash yesterday with my vehicle , and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The entire license plate and holder were ripped off during their wash, even though everything was fully secure beforehand. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff told us to file an incident report and wait for ICBC to decide, which is unacceptable for damage that clearly happened during their service. They are not fixing anything themselves and are simply pushing the responsibility onto insurance. On top of that, they are very unprofessional, do not speak respectfully, and even hung up the call when we tried to discuss the issue. They also don't answer calls consistently, making the situation even more frustrating. A business should not damage a customer's vehicle and then avoid accountability. Very careless, unprofessional, and disappointing service. read more

Damaged my truck. The brushes broke the antenna off... the antenna then scratched the hood. One of the attendants brought out a part of someone else's antenna (wrong colour). They didn't offer to do anything for us, other than to go through again as the truck was not even slightly cleaned. The car wash is too quick, and quite rough. The windshield wipers almost came off. Don't do it. read more

After leaving the car wash i noticed that my paint was damaged. The manager, Ricky, strung me along for a month, but in the end, did not reimburse me for the repair. Very dishonest company, and a very expensive car wash. read more

I used to have a monthly subscription with Speedwash. I stopped it because their car wash damaged my wheel rims, DEEPLY SCRATCHED in several spots, especially serious on the left side. I emailed them via their website contact us, useless, no response. I posted review to Google, they respond with beautiful wording, but not tackling the issue. They said their manager has emailed me & didn't receive my email. It is useless to send them email via their contact us in their website. Besides, I didn't receive any email from their manager. It is just a response in Google review for other to see that they are good. Their website don't have any email address. I found their email for promotion, I emailed them using that email address and provided them with 4 videos of my wheel rims for the damage. I didn't get any undelivered email. It has been 2 weeks, there is no response from them. Very disappointed. read more

Pretty hit-and-miss cleaning. Literally. Some places it hits, some places it misses. The sides of my car were still quite untouched with grime. The front and back were probably TOO scrubbed. When I got home I found that almost the entirety of my rear license plate paint had been scratched right off the metal. read more

What can one say about a car wash? I come here on occasion when I'm too lazy or it's too cold for me to wash my car. I usually question myself about why I go as it's always so pricey but that's the price I pay for convenience. This location can be a big pain in the butt to get in & out of as it's right on King George and drivers aren't always nice about letting you get through. I will go again as I like a clean car but don't always want to do it myself and this is probably the best car wash in the vicinity. I've been to others and paid a hefty price but the car came out just as dirty. read more

Car wash scratched my driver side mirror on my almost brand new car (one month old). The owners take no responsibility even though the video the provided shows the mirror being pushed out of place, and snapping back into place. My only option is small claims court, for a $300 repair , it may not be worth it - and they know it. Don't bring your car here! If an owner reads this and would like that to do the right thing. Please reach out. read more

Very exownsive and the car always when I go doesnt come clean, many yimes came same dirty alhalf of my car. Plus the employment scanned my sebit car and they did double charge for same day, and manager said this ia not true, I went to the bank and they told me this charhe is from the sane day from speed wash in surrey. This is not recommended place to wash your car fpr not body. read more

Seriously one of the cheapest places to wash your vehicle! You have about 4 different options for wash with the cheapest around $7 for the basic. If you wash often, then the $7 works great. read more

I've been here twice; both times the vacuums were so weak they wouldn't pick up a thing. And, wheels weren't cleaned very well. Save your money and vacuum your car @ home. The cleaning of the outside of the car was good. read more

Speedwash - Wheels don't always come out clean. - Car Wash Near Me - Surrey, British Columbia

It's basically what the name says: speed wash. If you're looking for a quick car wash, this place will do the trick. Don't expect a miracle to happen when you go through here with a superbly dirty car though. It's kinda just common sense. This place isn't my first choice for a car wash (I hand wash, it's the best way to make sure everything is done perfectly), but it's where I take my car for a quick touch up and maintenance clean up at a cheap rate. It's really straight forward: you pull in, select a lane, pull up, choose what type of wash you want, and then pull forward and switch your gear to neutral after the attendants have gestured to you. Then, your car goes through and it gets cleaned. Pretty easy peasy. Vacuuming is free, which is probably the best (and worst) part, depending on when you come and which vacuum you end up using. There's a limited number of vacuums though, so if you come during the afternoon on a hot day, expect to wait a bit. Some of the vacuums are also weak, so don't come if you're in a hurry -- you'll just leave angry. Customer service is meh. They used to be more engaged, but they've switched over to requiring a pin entry, so that basically takes away from any engagement opportunity. Be prepared for it. Ideally, they need to upgrade their vacuums and increase the amount of time cars spend in the drying part of the wash. Like I said at the top: it's fast. Not the greatest, but it does the trick if it's been a week or two since you detailed your car and you wanna keep it clean. read more

Really good car wash, me and my friends will ALWAYS go out of our way to come here. The service is good also. The only thing that would make going here even better is if they got more vacuums. They are very popular and it would be int heir best interest to get a couple more so that people wouldn't have to wait a long time or drive back and forth to find a free one. read more

Had my car washed there today, does a very good job however was not really impressed with the tire rims their was plenty of break dust still on there but for $14 can't go wrong. Also they have free vacuums which is a bonus read more

Don't waste your money. I definitely will never again. They do not guarantee a clean car. I didn't even want my money back just another car wash to finish the job. No off roading mud or anything just city driven civic! Very disappointed! read more

The worst car wash experience I have ever been through! I paid over $10 for a car wash to only have the front end of my car cleaned. There was no proper soap dispensed and the cleaning rollers stopped spinning beyond the front doors of my car. The owner is ripping people off. The touchless car wash at my local gas station does a better job. SpeedWash is overrated! read more

Speedwash - You can see where the rollers stopped spinning and cleaning. Don't waste your money or time! - Car Wash Near Me - Surrey, British Columbia

Customer service actually is not good at all. I had dirt on my car after the wash and told the attendant and asked for a rewash. He said "you can want a rewash but it doesn't mean you can have one." I Would recommend any gas station over this. read more

I came her today to try their speed wash, and it was quick. I paid $10 for the carwash, expecting it would clean the whole entire car, however I found the back side of my car still dirty and only the front and sides were cleaned. read more

Sure the prices are cheap, but the car wash it self was not very good. My car was left looking like a poorly cleaned wine glass with water spots and streaks. Went to check out t their Facebook page after my less than stellar experience and was accosted by their horrible marketing video series. I don't think I have ever seen anything so bad in my life. It was sexist and rude and it makes the boss look like a real jerk. I'd rather have a dirty care then go back here again. read more

Below average after paying 14+gst car front and tires was still dirty when i call 1 of the staff member he give me towel to clean myself and start talking on his cellphone. Not going there again read more

Terrible car wash. Don't waste your money here. I came in with my car that was slightly dirty, after the wash there were scratches everywhere and swirls. When we complained, they gave us an incident report and never followed up. Don't waste your money here read more

Just used their service on King George got the top wash and I wasn't happy to find soap all over the hood on the sides and even all over the back-(not just a little either )/-so I pointed it out to the guy asked him if it was normal he said sometimes but was not interested in making it correct -end of story read more

Scratched the hood of my wife's car. Don't use this place go use a touchless wash. They don't care when you tell them either

My New Found Car Wash Love! Awesome Guys! I even left a floor mat on the ground after using their free vacuum service and voila, it was still there in their lost and found. This is a super clean place and the wash did an amazing job on the Lexus SUV which is Black. Coming back...forever! read more

This is my favourite car wash. An old boyfriend introduced me to this place years and years ago. I've since moved and no longer live in Surrey but will still only go here to get my car washed. I don't know a ton about cars but my car leaves really clean. It won't clean the hard-to-get places but no automatic car wash will. Plus, this carwash is a lot better than the typical carwash stations open nowadays that pretty much just include a garage and a hose. There are multiple options of quality car washes to choose from, I think the cheapest option is around $7 with tax and the more expensive being around $15 with tax. They have 2 long lineups of vacuum stations to use after. I'm pretty sure these used to be free but now unfortunately you pay for this option when you choose your carwash option. read more

Pathetic service. I had a hand wash done to my car at the body shop after a paint job. I wanted to get a better wash and went to SpeedWash last week and paid $11 for 2nd place finish which is better than $6 which is their lowest. 20 minutes after the wash my front and back windshield looked foggy. I reached home and when I looked at my car the next day the soap they used it was like glue and wouldn't go away easily. I called the Speedwash and they wouldn't take my call. I left a message and they wouldn't respond. I had to take my car to another hand wash place I had to scrub very hard to get the gluey junk off my windshield. Avoid this place at any cost. Don't even try. Later on when I mentioned to one of my friend, he said that his wife had the same issue 6 months back. read more

Our car wasn't very dirty but after the middle priced wash it was even worse. Streaks everywhere, mirrors filthy, and spots not even touched on top. We've had much better washes at regular gas station touch less. Free vacuums are a nice touch but without great suction they're not very helpful. We were very disappointed and won't go back. read more

I have continued coming to this business since my last review. Recently they started charging extra for the vacuums whereas it was included with the price of the wash previously. I felt this was a bit of a slap in the face to a loyal customer, so I have started just washing and vacuuming my car at my house instead. Oh well, was good while it lasted. read more

I do not recommend SpeedWash for anyone. That place is horrible! Their Midnight Madness deal is a rip off. I'd rather buy a bag of candy for $3.81. Their vacuums aren't very good. My car still looks as if it didn't even go in the wash. Don't waste your time or money going here. Their customer service attendants are really rude and don't care about your car! Go to Generic Car Wash instead where everything is better! read more

WORST CAR WASH! - Honestly, it's too bad zero stars is not an option because it would be more fitting for this review. The car wash failed to clean my car and it wasn't even that dirty to begin with. On top of that, when I went to talk to the representatives, they were EXTREMELY RUDE. He clearly said, "we don't need your business, don't come here". I was there for a half hour as I also cleaned the inside of my car. During my half hour stay, I witnessed 5 other complaints -- no joke! read more

Took my car here a few weeks ago, cleaned it like a pro. Service attendants and staff were so courteous and professional. Don't use generic carwash. It's just not worth your time and effort, and they never fully clean your vehicle or leave a disgusting residue behind. Speedwash is where it's at. read more

well, your success has finally gone to your head, and you spoiled your service by raising price 4 dollars on the top wash. long before you opened i used the one on terminal for years and was happy to see you folks open closer to home. now, i have had my last wash with you and will return to terminal which in reality is a better car wash anyway. so, take your greed and shove it, you have lost me as a weekly customer, sometimes twice a week, and will make it down to terminal again. i hope karma gets you for your greed, i mean a 4 dollar increase, give me a break. i am on fixed income and will no longer spend what little money i have, i prefer to put 4 dollars in gas in my car and drive downtown. read more

Took my car there for a wash. Selected the best wash, did NOT do a good job. Streaks everywhere and water spots., car was still dirty and the wheels were still dirty. I was excited to try the new Speedwash on King George so I stopped in today. I paid my $15 and asked the young attendant if the car wash would damage my mirrors and he told me no the mirrors will be fine. Half way through the car wash I saw my drivers side mirror hanging off my truck . I was shocked. I brought it to their attention as soon as I was through the car wash.` This never happens`` ,the assistant manager tells me . News Flash buddy it just happened ` he tapes the mirror onto the side of the truck with some blue masking tape and gives me his card to go to overseas Auto body so they can try to fix it for me. Seriously people ,you call that customer service, I paid $15 to have my mirror ripped off my truck and the wash job was not even that great. You are gonna have to do something more than that if you ever want me back on your premises and I will have not one good word to say about you Speedwash. read more
