After posting this review, this lawyer stated that he had sent emails to us although none were sent. When we called his number it didn't work which is why we thought we had been scammed, in addition to the fact that we received a letter stating that the ticket had been unpaid. After posting an honest review we finally got instructions and resolution from this lawyer. This is my first time ever leaving a negative review on the internet, but people need to be warned about something as serious as court. If you want to be confident in your attorney to get your case resolved PLEASE do not choose this company or R. Christopher Simons as your lawyer. He will be very kind, considerate, and get back to you quickly IN THE BEGINNING, but after he gets your money the quality of his service goes WAY DOWN! What he told me my ticket would get amended to through email more than once, was COMPLETELY DIFFERENT than what the judge stated in court. I was completely blindsided standing in front of the courtroom and had to step away to talk to him about the error. He told me to text him when I got to court at 8:45am and when I did that he NEVER RESPONDED. I had to guess who he was in court because he didn't even greet me until more than an hour after I got there even though, come to find out, he was two rows ahead of me! The judge kept having to wait on him to finish the paperwork and PLENTY of people who came in after me left way before I even got started. I felt as if he pulled a bait and switch and was a completely different person online then he was in person. I finally had to agree in court on something that we never discussed before hand. Please be warned, and take your services elsewhere to a lawyer who values your time, money, and just you as a human being. read more

Very frustrating experience. Yes, your ticket will be amended but the lack of communication throughout the process made it extremely frustrating. Emailing questions to Mr. Simons only seemed to bring brief replies that usually didn't fully address or answer my questions. On top of that, I had to ask Mr. Simons a second time to use the defense letter (obstructed school zone sign) that I prepared with photos and the works, when pushing for dismissal with the prosecutor after he seemed to me to have forgotten to use it the first time and just had the ticket amended without further explanation. He did ask if I wanted him to push harder with the prosecutor, which I thought should have been a given... and he did succeed in getting me a partial refund that I had to wait three months to receive and go to court myself to get straightened out. All in all, yes he did amend my ticket and got me a partial refund after multiple requests, but I had to exert more effort throughout the process for things I thought he should have handled, which resulted in a five-month case full of frustration. He is friendly though and I'm sure he is well-intentioned, so I hope my case was just an anomaly. read more
