Every therapist is so caring and informative. My kiddo always comes out of therapy with a little project she did, and it always astounds me that she can do things I never knew she was ready for. We currently attend PT, OT, and Speech here and I absolutely love every person! I will never leave this place until my daughter graduates from pediatrics to the adulthood. I am an adult client for speech therapy with Dr. Gretchen Findlay, and I've been going to her for…read moreabout two years. She is very knowledgeable about the function of speech and helps you get to the root problem of why you're struggling. While working with her, I realized that I had a tongue tie that went overlooked until adulthood, and getting it fixed improved my quality of life not just with speech but also with sleep. She also has good customer service and very comfortable to work with. She is patient and very nice person. Another great (but often overlooked) thing is that Dr. Findlay has a good network of other providers she knows and works with. I was able to find a good periodontist and an orthodontist through her, and they made a big difference as well in helping my speech. I recommend Dr. Findlay and her team of other speech therapists for both children and adults.

The evaluator suggested he would greatly benefit from private therapy. I started searching for places after calling the Children's Hospital which had a...wait for it...1 year wait time for an evaluation only. Acorn has online scheduling (!) and text reminders for appointments. They also had openings for an evaluation within a week or two, sooner if you are open on time. There are multiple types of therapy offered as well as some sort of summer camp type thing. The lobby has toys to play with while you wait. There are multiple kids in therapy with different therapists at the same time which I've seen as a benefit. My kid loves coming here. He stands at the door signing "open" waiting for his therapist (Jenna Beth) to come get him. The appointment time is the same every week. They have been open 2 years at this point and are privately owned. I highly suggested giving this place a try if you are looking for therapy for your little one. They accept insurance and all my visits are covered.

My son was born with an extensive list of medical issues (including hydrocephalus & cerebral palsy, level 3), due to prematurity, causing him to have extreme delayed motor skills. He is 2 & struggled with sitting up & could not stand. But, within 3 weeks.. he is now sitting completely independently, standing up & pulling up on furniture all on his own.
