GGRC recommended At Home Support Service as a vendor tp provide personal assistance service. Our experience with this company was outstanding. Maybelle R., the coordinator, ensured the entire process was smooth and stress-free, handling all logistics and maintaining consistent communication to confirm that everything was going well. We have a family member who was assigned as a personal assistant and everything was just perfect. The hiring process was smooth, and fast. Maybelle has good communication system, always asking if everything is doing fine for my daughter. Because of the professionalism, compassion, and quality of service we received, I highly recommend this company and will certainly be using their services again in the future.

Our process of obtaining a caregiver was simple and the arrangement works for all of us. We are being overseen in the office by Ms. Maybelle R. And she is very polite, respectful and dependable! When any incidents mostly timing or last minute changes happen Ms. Maybelle is understanding to our family and the caregiver's needs. Easy & adaptable and extra time is always reminded but never pressured. My daughter's caregiver is a difference maker in our lives especially that my children have special needs. Because of this company, I give them a 10/10! They do work with GGRC.

2024 Review We…read moretoured several assisted living facilities and chose Atria, primarily for the "quality of care" and Parkinson's support promised. A few months in, the nightmare began. Having a parent with a neurodegenerative disorder is stressful enough, let alone having to continually stay on top of the care team and ultimately take time off work to meet with directors. Medication management was poor. I was contacted multiple times (to call the doctor) to help with prescription refills. Med techs almost never delivered meds on time despite time sensitive needs. My mother's "off periods" and symptoms increased with the inconsistency. She became very ill. Call button response was insubstantial. Wait periods were up to 45 minutes for transferring, toileting, ect. There were times when no one responded. These services were part of the care level package. Meeting with the executive director addressing quality of care concerns, fell on deaf ears. Instead of acknowledging the problem, (weak leadership, staff shortage, employee retention) my parents were blamed. They were accused of "not using the call button correctly" and "being inpatient". They were paying for services not received and being told THEY were the problem. Last straw was telling us that my mother was no longer allowed to eat in the dining room claiming no caregivers allowed to help with feeding - despite this being standard. Why didn't they just move out? They eventually did but easier said than done in our nuanced situation. Initial tour and interior aesthetics are deceiving. Proceed with caution folks.

We gave our notice to move out before she had been there for 30 days, it was dangerous for her to remain there. If you're putting your loved one in memory care, I would not recommend them. In the first 30 days my grandmother lived at this facility, she fell 6 times, 2 of those she went to the ER. We were paying for inconsistence care and they were checked her during the night, the workers would complain to me that they had to clean her every morning when it was explained to me they would check in the middle of the night. At any given time, you can 1 or 2 workers scrolling on their phones. I have walked out needing someone that works there and it takes 5 minutes to find them. They cared so little about keeping track of belongings, my grandma would have a bunch of random clothes in her closet and I'm sure we lost some of hers. Every facility we visited afterwards looking for a new place, told us horror stories of residents that had been moved from there to their facilities, one facility received 8 of their patients in one year. They have huuuuge amounts of vacancies because their care sucks. It seems like they don't care about their workera and they in turn don't provide great care.

All are attentive, caring and personable. Dolores (DiDi) has been our most regularly scheduled caregiver and we love that we can just open the door and she takes charge of the meals, laundry, bathing, other personal care without us having to prompt her...and she cleans up after herself. Thank you Di Di and thank you Synergy

In response to Saili the owner who just commented on my review I will reiterate that I DID NOT call…read morethe caregivers after their shift. I would never do that. In fact I have never called the caregivers on their cell phone at all. I was told by YOU that I am NOT TO CALL MY MOTHER AT HER HOME when the caregivers are there because the caregiver Donna wants it that way. My friend and my husband heard you tell me this, as you were on speakerphone. You know very well I did not do that as that is not my argument and you don't have any record nor do the caregivers that I have called them. You are speaking untruths and you know it. I have read other negative comments about your business. You must scroll further down. They are surely there. Pictures paint 1000 words and that is proof enough of which I have 3. I also have my husband to verify and my sister who you spoke to as well, where you forbid ANY contact with my mother when the caregivers are there. Your employee Stephanie was at the coffee shop too where we met discussing all the horrific practices going on with your 'caregivers'. She saw and heard you laughing at my concerns as to the 'care' my mother was given. And you are really trying to base your response on me calling the caregivers after their shift??? That is your only retort? And a lie, no less. People concerned for their family care, think twice and then run!
