They had so many beautiful flowers and plants it made me wish a) I was a green thumb and b) I had a space to keep all of them in! My favorite display was Greece because I'd lived there a while ago, so it was fun to see their concept. That said, though, I loved all of the gardens. They were well planned and fun to take a quick stroll through/around. As to pricing, I labeled this as moderate, but really I think it just depends on what plant, planter, garden art, etc., you're looking for--the prices seem reasonable to me. One lady there suggested I subscribe to their newsletter to find out about upcoming events. I definitely want to go again, if for nothing else than to walk down the paths to see the blooming flowers.

I sometimes notice some religious undertones where which feels odd, but everyone is nice and it's a fun spot to spend a dreary day when you need a pick me up.

I went to the Bonner Springs Grass Pad location and the girl working the register I asked why no one could answer the phone when apparantly there were 3 workers including her not doing anything but standing at the register. Her smart ass reply was we are short handed, well it didn't look that way to me when no one (3 employees) was doing anything but standing at the register. The other issue is that the girl was really a smart ass won't be back cause I asked why I couldn't use my discount for being a veteran and her reply is that there was already a discount for a 50lb bag of Heat Wave. You also have raised the prices since I bought grass seed there and in the last 2 years I looked and her smart ass said they hadn't not true at all. Due to her smart ass remarks I won't be back, I was in a time crunch for my landscaper to lay seed so I bought it but I won't be back anymore I will go to somewhere else for my grass seed from now on. The staff was very KNOWLEDGEABLE- I capitalized knowledgeable and if I could have, I would have underlined it, made it boldface and put Christmas lights around it. The last time I was there I had asked them to gift wrap a package which they have done in the past. Well, their new system is DIY gift wrap. They have boxes, tape, wrap and a whole wrapping station set up in the store. I had to wrap two very large purchases and it was quite the mess. I got frustrated by the process and the lack of help I was getting. Still, having the wrapping materials there was a very big help. BB&B has a good selection of products and a wide variety, too. They always seem to have well stocked shelves, as well. The prices are reasonable on some things but very expensive on other items. You have to comparison shop for sure. I have many things cheaper elsewhere. I have never tried to match prices here so I cannot speak to that part of the BB&B experience. I do know they have mobile coupons and those are very useful. Overall a good store because of the product selection. I am three starring them because of the spotty and downright horrible customer service I have received in the past.

I feel like a horrible plant parent as I haven't been able to restore the soil for almost 2 years. I've purchased from all of these stores previously and I've been having an even bigger issue with gnats lately. Cadence welcomed me in and asked what she could help with, Matt teamed up with her when I mentioned the gnat issue and both offered various options. We lucked out by just so happening to come on a Family Fun Day! My daughter and I enjoyed snacks, painting pumpkins, and discovering new things I can use to save my plants at home. The customer service was genuine, thorough, warm and consistent; I don't think a customer could ask for more. Just the service alone makes me want to continue coming back, but the products suggested are also speaking for themselves. Now my plants are happy, I made memories with my mini and I know exactly where to go whenever my plants need something. Excited to watch them all flourish in their new soil!
