What an absolutely miserable experience. We had visited this…read morestore driving from Caseville nearly 30 minutes away. I was seeking a plan that was similar to the price point I was paying, but that had more modern features (like visual voicemail) because the plan I was on was rather old. The attendant was no help and nearly added a plan that was $500 a month until I noticed the change and stopped her. She then said she "felt uncomfortable changing the plan because the price keeps changing in every screen" and urged me to call AT&T customer care to update my plan instead. So no help with that front. I then asked if I could at least get a data SIM for my laptop. My laptop has a modem and the ability to connect to a network in the same vein as some iPads or tablets. She got out a SIM card and began working on her tablet to add it to the account. Many minutes passed of her doing this and it became painfully obvious that she did not know how to add a data SIM to the account. This was only further confirmed by her asking us to just use an old data sim from one of the tablets we had and were looking to remove from the account (which, shocker, she couldn't do either), after working for so long. Overall we will not be going back to this AT&t store. If we need service we will either take care of it online, with the customer care line, or by using a store in a more populated area.
