We have spectrum for about 2 yrs. Home Internet and cell phones. My phone has been really slow and randomly turning off as well as not connecting to our Wi-Fi. I went into the store in Enterprise with intentions of buying a new phone. I stood in line and the woman behind the counter just looked at me. Did say "hi" or " how can I help you?" I walked up and she asked for my ID. That's it. I told her about my issues with the phone and asked what she recommended. Nothing. She didn't show my any other phones or ask any questions. I went in there looking to spend money. She did nothing. I just asked her to end my service with them. Cell service and home Internet. Absolutely the worst internet and cable I experienced.... As well as my entire neighborhood dispise it as well. The service is extremely slow at best if it is even working. The Field Operations Manager and technicians and either completely incompetent or spectrum does not care if they want to obtain or just retain their existing customers. Heed my advice the absolute service at some of the highest prices in the United States.... Be warned stay away at all costs! Regarding TWC in general, completely incompetent. Can't stick to disconnect schedules. The funny part is they don't actually know when they shut my services off... And by funny I mean terrible. I'm actually volunteering to not have internet for a month so I don't have to deal with them anymore. When I had internet it usually worked just fine. I would be wary about getting the actual download speed your paying for though. I do agree with the previous post. Good luck finding another "better option." Spectrum - Internet Service Providers Near Me - Enterprise, Alabama

I had residential service with Spectrum at a previous address. When I called about getting a quote I was told one thing and when I received the bill I was overcharged. I called and the recording of my original call was pulled and it was revealed I had in fact been told one thing and charged another so my price was adjusted. Now, I have moved and opened a business so I needed business internet, cable and phone service. The phone number was being ported from a another carrier. Twice, I discussed with the salesperson that I needed the phone number ported over so I was not happy when, on the day of closing, I was told it would be two weeks to get the phone number ported. I was told it was an "FCC regulation" which I knew was not true. I was not happy but I had no choice to wait. On the day the phone was supposed to be working I got up and called Spectrum to confirm the number would be working that day. Imagine my shock to find out that Stephanie never put the order in. I was told they didn't show I had ever requested the number be ported from another carrier. This was an intentional act of vindictiveness by Stephanie because I strongly objected to being told it would take two weeks to have something done I had already requested. I also told her I did not believe that FCC regulations stated it HAD to be two weeks to have a number ported from another carrier. So, after spending quite a long time on the phone that day I finally found someone that said he could get it done and it would not take two weeks (no such two week FCC rule). It did get done almost a full week later. But even the guy who said he would call me first thing that morning to make sure it was working never called me. I ended up calling Spectrum about mid-morning and the woman I spoke with took care of it. Secondly, again, I was quoted that with the business bundle my phone would be free. Even when I was upset with the number not being ported when it was supposed to have been I was told I could not have a prorated adjustment on my bill because "you aren't paying for phone". So I get my bill and I am being charged for phone. I call and was told it was supposed to be free with the bundle and they said they don't do that. I said their salesman told me that it would be and they said it didn't matter what I was told, they don't offer a free phone service with bundle package. They refused to even pull the recorded call because they said it didn't matter what I was told. This bait and switch was something I consider it to be criminal. If you have any other options in your area I would go with other options. I am currently looking into other options to see what will work best for me. On top of that there have already been multiple outages, one being about 18 hours so the service is not reliable. read more

wife died of Covid -19 . Me hospitalized . Contacted Spectrum to modify account . They tried selling me phone service ? I told them that I was deathly sick and just wanted the account modifyied as I was in an out of state facility . They said no ? I said since you cant resolve this issue don't expect me to pay your billing good bye. Called Spectrum today as a potential new internet customer (they are the only provider for my address). This is the very 1st time I have ever interacted with Spectrum. This was my experience!!!! After exchanging pleasantries, my first question was "What is your lowest internet speed available?" The representatives answer... "100 mbps." I found that kind of strange and asked if he was sure that there wasn't a lower speed available. Their reply was "yes, I am positive that 100mbps is our lowest available speed." As I was asking about the prices, I curiously looked it up online...... and low and behold...... there it was!!! A "30mbps" offer for a substantially lower price, which is basically what I was looking for! I immediately said thanks but no thanks to the rep and hung up. I called back because I was curious to see if another rep would say the same as the first one. Short answer... absolutely!!!! Apparently, after speaking with a supervisor, I found out that the 30 mbps speed is not available everywhere. The reps are required to say 100mbps because of that. I was extremely skeptical of his answer. I have no idea whether I was being told the truth at this point or not!! I feel like the answer to my original question should have been.... "30mbps is our lowest available speed but it is not available in all locations. However, our 100 mbps plan is available in all locations. Can I get your address to see if 30mbps is available where you live or not?" IMO... Spectrum = LIARS read more

Worst company I have ever worked with. They have little to no customer service and incapable of performing the simplest tasks. Stay clear of Time Warner cable. Unfortunately, there are not too many choices when it comes to internet providers in the area. I have to continue to use them for internet but I would not use their cable and phone service. Directv offers so much more for the money and you can find cheaper phone service by looking on the internet. Time Warner wanted to charge over $40 a month for a home phone. read more

I have never been so angry at a company. March 20th: I called to cancel my cable, I had overpaid on my bill so I was told I would receive a refund check in the mail for the balance. March 26th: Spectrum tried to bill me for an additional month, I called and was assured that the erroneous bill was zeroed out and I would receive a direct deposit for the amount I had previously overpaid within three days. April 5: I received a letter that my account was being turned over to a collection agency because I hadn't paid my bill. the woman I spoke with told me I needed to pay the balance on the month I had been erroneously billed on March 26th. I yelled at her until she assured me my account had been zeroed out and I would never hear from Spectrum again. April 14th: Spectrum turned my account over to a collection agency. I called and they told me my account had been zeroed out and I would be called by billing within a week when I had been removed from the list. The issue still hasn't been resolved. Do not trust this company. I would prefer to go without internet or cable than dealing with them. read more

This is the absolute WORST cable and internet company. Once they switched over from time warner there was a huge cluster mess of people trying to get cable boxes. Lines extremely long, people standing in these lines for hours! My internet has gone out 3 times in two months because my modem wasn't working correctly. I do not recommend spectrum to anyone. They do not prorate your billing if you counsel in the middle of your billing cycle. I think that should be one of the first things they tell customers prior to them starting service. If you go to the enterprise office be prepared to wait at least an hour or longer to get service. The customer service in there is horrendous. read more

Hello, I'm a SPECTRUM customer, and have been for years. I've decided to write this review for everyone to read, so they'll be aware of what they're getting into before making the decision to switch or sign with SPECTRUM. I personally am not satisfied with SPECTRUM'S misguiding unprofessional services and experience. Everytime I call or visit a local office for help, a service rep tells me a different story each time. Workers at local SPECTRUM offices are rude and disrespectful to their customers. For me, SLECTRUM threatened to raise my internet bill without my authorization. On top of that, they say my internet speed will not even increase with the price increase. Makes no sense at all. Seems highly illegal as well. Speaking with a supervisor did not help matters either. It's almost not even worth watching most of the local stations they offer you. They are terrible terrible terrible quality. I can not stress how awful the picture quality is. And it has nothing to do with my 1080P 4k Samsung tv either. Many other stations look perfectly fine but c'mon people, it's 2016! read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Their customer service is a joke and service isn't all that. Unfortunately, this is the only service in my area (Tehachapi, CA), so I was stuck. I canceled the service and was told I would be receiving a refund because the bills are paid in advance of use. First off, they "lost" the equipment that their technician took from the service address, then they proceeded to take another ACH payment out, even though the account was closed and I was paid through the following month. (Apparently, if you chose "stop automatic draft" online it doesn't stop them. You have to call in & and request that, even though that option is available on their website) So, they tagged me with an equipment fee and it took 4 months for them to "find" the equipment. They still say I owe money even though I was told multiple times that I was due a refund. I have requested numerous times for statements be sent to my home (not at the service address) so that I can review them and determine if, in fact, I truly owe money. Since I closed my account, I am unable to view the statements online. I am still waiting 8 months later. They are dishonest and shrewd and just plain HORRIBLE in just about everyday. Lie, cheat and steal - The new business moto at TWC. I called to discuss my Internet bill which had crept up to over $100 a month for 50mbps. That is highway robbery and they know it. TWC is the only provider on our area and they are taking advantage of the customers here. I was told my only option was to package my internet with TV and Phone and that would lower the cost. I only have a cell phone and I get my TV from a satellite provider. After about 30 minutes I was passed on to a supervisor. This goof told me that our neighborhood was getting fiber optic installed and he could set me up with 100mbps for $69. That is still expensive when you compare it to a larger metropolitan area, but better than what I have and cheaper than what I was paying. After the phone call ended I checked my internet speed and it was hitting 30mbps. I decided I would wait for a day or two to give the system time to update my account. Now it is two months later and I still only have 30mbps down. The fact that the supervisor figured I wouldn't know any better and decided it was easier to lie is completely unacceptable. Would rate a zero if I could. Have had TWC for roughly 18 months. Internet tends to drop daily (restarting the router/modem fixes those), with a special outage on their end 3-4 times a month for several hours. TV lineup is unimpressive, picture quality is garbage. Constant freezing and pixelation. Customer service nonexistent. read more
