We had purchased a new iPhone for our mom and had trouble getting it to work. After several attempts over the computer and customer support to get the phone activated we went into the Harrison Ave store. Suzie and Tyler (it might be Taylor) were there and solved the issues quickly and had the new phone up and running in no time. They quickly understood what had gone wrong and were able to fix the situation. They both were professional, very patient, and kind. When I arrived in the store I was upset, angry that setting up a phone took so much time, and took out my frustrations with their on-line customer support on them. They listened and reminded me that they were there to help not aggravate the situation. I calmed down and appreciate their patience. They went above and beyond because they could have and would have been completely within their right to ask me to leave. Instead, they helped me take a couple breaths and realize that we are all human and we all get frustrated with customer support. They were real people and would try their best. I want to commend them and hope their manager realizes what great people they have working in their Butte, MT store. read more

For the past month Spectrum has been dropping my intetnet intermittently, from 3 to 9pm. They call it flapping. Every 20 minutes or so they disconnect i ternet for 20 to 39 seconds. Snd it should connect but I have to go in and reset everything. This was according to chatgpt in the Butte area. read more

The cell service is an absolute joke, a year of dropping call horrible load times. One minute you will have full bars and the next second one bar and you didn't even move. nothing but excuses when you call and the same "fix" over and over. if your are thinking about it save yourself the annoyances and trouble and don't do it I wish I did.... read more

I have yet to find a telecommunication company that does not participate in deceptive and aggressive sales tactics. Spectrum is no different. Incident #1. We were a spectrum business customer for 4 years in the Butte area. Around year 2 we had a spectrum rep visit us at our storefront trying to get us to sign an additional contract for a second account. No real reason except our internet install was located in the offices that we rented above our storefront. He tried to persuade our employees, my wife and also myself in trying to sign us up for another account. This was in a course of multiple visit attempts This is a prime example of the aggressive sales culture that Spectrum creates. Incident #2. We recently moved our location in Butte. We have since signed another contract at the new location while we were in the process of closing our other location. During this year, we had 2 spectrum business accounts operating. When we called to disconnect last month, we asked for a disconnect date of the following day so we could keep our business phone line operational. As soon as we hung up the call, our internet and phone were immediately disconnected, ignoring our request to have the phone operational an additional day. We immediately called back asking if they could reinstate the service for an additional day. That reinstatement request ended up costing us over $170.00 When I returned the equipment, I was surprised to hear that we were still connected. I called the 1-800 number explaining our situation. The rep would not help us out and would only state that we ordered another reconnect. When I spoke with the manager, he also stated there was nothing he could do. That is when I was aggressive towards him. He stated then that he would have to open up an investigation and review the phone call. He would get back to us in 48 hours. 48 hours have past and they ran our credit card for the additional $170.00 We have not heard back from any representative. As soon as the account was disconnected, We could no longer access our account to view the charges online or change our credit card that was on file. We were just given an email that we owed this $170.00. We are now in the process of closing our second spectrum account and will be filing a complaint with the BBB. read more
